The “MP” in my name isn’t because I’m pretentious and want to be an MP it’s just the initials of my double-barrelled surname.

Lmao crazy that National is on track for its third ever worst result and it might get them into government
National Party election result history: With 38.06% of the vote, National has mostly recovered from its result in 2020, while entering government with its lowest vote share. #nzpol

whats going to happen is no government will be formed and we'll have another election in february, when Prime Minister Qiulae Wong will win a landslide majority for the Opportunity Party

Benchmark comparison for this week's Verian poll. Subpar for National and Labour, very good for ACT. Technically "bad" for Te Pāti Māori (had to double check that really was 0.1% and not 1%) but largely moot given their reliance on electorate seats.

I’ve had the 1News poll leaked to me and it shows the Social Democratic Party far ahead of the Conservative Party

I am pleading to the left to also lie to the public in order to win the election; it would reassure people they want to win and not just be right.
It’s disgusting how willing the National Party and its allies are to lie to the public in order to win the election. They know they’re unpopular and can’t win on policy, so they’re reverting to scare mongering. And people wonder why the public are losing faith in democracy!

New Zealand will be the first country to play Grand Theft Auto VI when the game unlocks at midnight on November 19th for them. Here's what time that will be around the world, so you'll know when gameplay footage and spoilers will start appearing on social media or play early:

It genuinely disgusts me to find out how little the national party and their supporters value these things. I have seen no dissent on this issue from the right. They all just think denying access is a correct punishment for supposed laziness
No voter id. Permanent residences voting. Same day enrollment. These things make New Zealand the most democratic country in the world and I think that is something to be proud of.

I don't think I'll do individual graphics for every seat, the boring holds will be in their own ones.
