The Daily Mirror are getting very upset about our marketing campaign… It would be a shame if you all retweeted it! 🔥

This so-called “parent” wants schools to get rid of the litter trays they’ve installed for pupils who identify as cats. This kind of thing could cause serious damage to the mental health of transfeline children. nitter.gq/libsoftiktok/status/14…

This time last year our Mum was dying from oesophageal cancer & was ready to die. She’d had enough & asked us to help her die. Because it’s illegal in this country we couldn’t help her, that will stay with us forever 💔 For a further 4 days she suffered so much 😔 @dignityindying

A dignified death should never be dependant on how much money you have. Every dying person deserves the choice of a peaceful death in their own home, surrounded by their loved ones.

Warning: This will make you cry. “I said ‘Are we doing the right thing?’ She said ‘We’re doing the only thing.’ Annie and Lilly’s mum stopped eating and drinking, because it was the only way she could have some control over her death. It took her 20 days to die.

Alison wrote a powerful letter before travelling to Dignitas for an assisted death. Her ideal death would have taken place in her own home, surrounded by the people she loved. Instead, she was forced to travel hundreds of miles to a foreign country.

“My view is that we remove the thing that’s blocking people from being able to follow their own beliefs.” New Zealand will legalise assisted dying this year. As jurisdictions around the world take this compassionate step, the UK’s lack of progress is becoming more apparent.

We believe assisted dying for terminally ill, mentally competent adults should be legal in the UK. Along with good care, dying people deserve the choice to control the timing and manner of their death.

We don’t have to live with this way of dying.

With Tasmania set to become the next jurisdiction to offer choice to dying people, the UK’s lack of progress is becoming more apparent and untenable. If we speak out we can force Parliament to act. Please add your name to our record of support: action.dignityindying.org.uk…
“If you know that you’re not getting better and every day is painful agony with no hope, it should be your human right to say ‘I’ve had enough.’” We couldn’t have put it better @RickyGervais

Josh is speaking out after the unbearable experience of watching his beloved gran die over 13 days. She wanted to die peacefully, on her own terms. @JoshAaronMennie made a promise to do whatever he could to ensure that no one else dies in these heart-breaking conditions.
