Corporate greed is Microsoft making $134 billion in profits last year, receiving $19 billion in tax breaks under Trump, paying a lower federal income tax rate than a nurse and getting rid of 60,000 workers.
“Corporations will create jobs if they get tax breaks” is a total scam.

This Australian's reply to Trump's rant about “NATO not being there for America” is perfect.
"Mate. You run a country with 600,000 homeless people sleeping on the street tonight. A country where 40% of adults can't cover a $400 emergency without borrowing money. A country where insulin costs more than a car payment and people are rationing it to survive. A country where medical debt is the number 1 cause of bankruptcy. A country where women are dying in hospital car parks because doctors are too scared of abortion laws to treat a miscarriage.
You lock up more of your own citizens than any nation on earth. More than China. More than Russia. More than North Korea. The land of the free has 2 million people in cages, and a quarter of them haven't even been convicted of anything. They're just too poor to make bail.
Your life expectancy is going backwards. You're the only developed nation where that's happening. Your infant mortality rate is worse than Cuba's. Your kids do active shooter drills between maths and English while you sell the gunmaker's stock to your mates.
Your minimum wage hasn't moved in 15 years. You've got teachers working 2 jobs and veterans sleeping under bridges and you just spent a trillion dollars flattening a country that didn't attack you.
And you’ve got a convicted felon, adjudicating raping, paedophile protecting, porn star shagging insurrectionist running the biggest dumpster fire war campaign since the Taliban in Afghanistan thanked you very much for losing again.
And you're calling Greenland poorly run?
Greenland has universal healthcare. Free education. One of the lowest incarceration rates in the world. Nobody goes bankrupt there because they got sick. Nobody dies in a waiting room because their insurance said no.
'NATO wasn't there when we needed them." When exactly was that, champ? September 11? Because NATO invoked Article 5 for the first and only time in history FOR YOU. Soldiers from dozens of countries deployed, fought, bled, and died in Afghanistan FOR YOU. Australia wasn't even in NATO and we still showed up. For 20 years.
And you pulled out at 2am without telling anyone and left them to deal with the mess.
So maybe before you start calling other countries poorly run, have a look at your own backyard, you spray-tanned aluminium siding salesman. The only thing poorly run in this picture is your f----- mouth."

In March 1949 alone, the Soviets deported over 20,000 people from Estonia. Of those deported, 79% were women and children. Specific enough?
Replying to @TheFl0orIsLaVa @sopjap
It is always funny that Baltic reactionaries never get specific about _whom_ were deported and executed under the USSR to pretend it was some kind of genocide.

Attack on one, attack on all. Back off.
My solidarity with Francesca Albanese.
The UN harbors a moral fugitive who spews hatred for America, the West, Jews, and Israel. Francesca Albanese is institutional poison, doing grave damage to the UN, and tarnishing the work of brave UN personnel who risk their lives to feed the starving and keep the peace.
I know it. You know it. All that remains is to do something about it. Start by saying publicly what you say privately: Albanese must go. @AmbUNReform

Selling out a democratic ally for money. No greater or more tragic corruption scandal in American history. Look at how Hegseth is blocking interceptors and the slate of other things over the last few weeks that have caused civilian deaths. Lowest moment since slavery in the U.S.

A message to those who still believe that it all started on October 7. No, it didn't. A 'managed genocide', to keep 1.5 million Palestinians "on the edge of life" was in force years before. Read the latest report by Eyal Weizman:
"A military document called ‘Red Lines’ set the minimum number of calories required to sustain Gaza’s population at a level just above the UN definition of hunger (2100 calories a day for men, 1700 for women and a varying amount for children depending on gender and age). The total number of calories was translated into the tonnage required to feed Gaza’s then population of 1.5 million and thus the number of aid trucks allowed into the territory. The same went for megawatts of electricity and litres of fuel and water. What was seen as good behaviour was rewarded by an increase in the amounts coming in, any acts of resistance by the tightening of the siege, like a population-scale version of a Milgram experiment."

Well, well, well...
80% of "donations" to Nigel Farage’s party are from donors or companies based overseas.
This is not normal.
And the public deserves to know what these super-rich donors want back in return.

This is a map of voting sites in Jerusalem. As you can see, they are completely absent from most of East Jerusalem, where the majority is Palestinian. This is how apartheid works. You give a small and harmless minority of Palestinians the right to vote, take pictures of them and talk about how you have democracy. Then you don't let them into the coalition and make sure only Jews have power.
I’ve already agreed to the suggestion that it wasn’t “ military strength”.

Farage lies outright here about the role of Raheem Kassam. He was his UKIP head of staff, and considered running for the leadership. He isn’t “someone in America” but his close advisor
Car crash alert 🚨
Sally Nugent asks Nigel Farage about Raheem Kassam's “Nigerian scammer” comments on Kemi Badenoch and his response is painful to watch.

Not an iota of respect for a fellow minister, but demands respect back.
This be narcissists.
Waste Of Time...
Today I asked another Minister (No idea who she is) a very simple question.
Once again a Minister who does not know their brief.

Disappointing to hear Andy Haldane talking such nonsense. The 2016 Brexit referendum created a cloud of uncertainty because it led to trade barriers going up. Rejoining the EU would bring trade barriers down.

I have to challenge this.
The huge “dust cloud” that was thrown up around Brexit 10 years ago (both pre- & post-) was because businesses didn’t know the destination and what the rules would be.
Joining the EU, rules are clear.
Other nations don’t have “dust clouds” on joining.
