Spent 41 years doing a job I absolutely loved, but always wanted to work in a record store…dream came true at 62!😎

An immense collection!! Particularly love the rough cut tracks on 'Mysteries & Rarities' in Singles Collection by The Coral: 'Seagulls', 'Calendars and Clocks' demo, a 'Shadows Fall' instrumental & a cover of the Everly Brothers’ 'Bye Bye Love' & so much more…#NowPlaying

I’m not going to apologise for banging on about this, so here’s the perfect song….Jacqueline by The Coral…witness the transformative power of live music, a great band & a great song…

Painting hope across the clouds…🌈🎨🖌️

I’ll say it again, it’s the resigned sadness that immediately grabs your attention; honest rather than heavy. There’s no over-dramatisation here; the melancholy just exists & it’s the contrast with the melody that makes it hit home so hard. The perfect song! Bill McCai #TheCoral

Going full-on Butterfly House!!…it always seems like this one exists in its own world - reassuring, reflective, & quietly majestic.🦋

Haunting melodies, a rich atmosphere & mysterious shadowy psychedelia…‘‘I’ll take you down. Down to Cripples Crown’’ #Timeless

If there’s such a thing as a perfect gig, this was it…The Coral, Birmingham, 24/10/26

The night after the night before! #TheSequel #RoundTwo 😀…Let The Music Play!!

Whilst 'Jacqueline' is my favourite song of theirs, due to its sentiments & melody, that transports you, I’d posit the view that the suburban nightmare as exemplified in 'Bill McCai', & written with such foresight, makes it The Coral’s greatest song…

Thanks to @thecoralband for a brilliant gig @O2InstituteBham this evening! Every song struck a chord & the connection between the band and the crowd was electric!!

#RoadTrip…soundtrack!!😎
