On 17 July 2026, Tristan and I were in Washington, D.C. having spent the preceding days meeting with more than 100 people within and connected to the U.S. political system. Our conversations focused on mobilizing young people ahead of the midterm elections and the influence of independent cultural figures over a generation traditional politicians have failed to reach. That same day, whilst Labour announced Andy Burnham as its new leader, I flew to Miami to host a boxing event with Jon Jones. The next day, Tristan and I were arrested under provisional extradition warrants, before any substantive evidence had been presented to the US court. I have now spent 109 days in solitary confinement. I publicly supported Donald Trump in 2016, 2020 and 2024, playing what many people consider a meaningful role in the cultural shift behind his return to the White House. Even Kamala Harris has discussed my electoral influence in her autobiography. People like Charlie Kirk and I challenged political orthodoxy and reached young men whom the establishment had abandoned. I was doing the same in Britain, challenging Labour over grooming gangs, mass immigration and freedom of speech, while supporting the movements around Reform UK and Restore. Now consider the extraordinary coincidence: two brothers, different complainants, different allegations, different dates and separate investigations, yet extradition warrants issued simultaneously and both arrested together. The political interference was obvious with MPs openly calling for action against us for our online speech. The coordination and timing are blatantly a politically motivated attempt to silence me ahead of the US midterms and during a critical period in British politics. Tommy Robinson faces criminal proceedings. Nigel Farage and Reform UK face investigations and scrutiny. Meanwhile, I remain in solitary confinement. This is a perfect example of the treatment of political dissent under the Labour Party. This is bigger than me. What happens when somebody challenges powerful institutions and accepts the risks of speaking freely, only to find that those who benefited from their courage are unwilling to defend their basic rights? Last night's election results should prompt serious reflection about what happens when political parties lose the trust of their own supporters. Every young person considering speaking publicly is watching. If controversy means abandonment, why should they believe that institutions promising freedom will defend their rights when it matters? I receive thousands of messages asking precisely that question. I have spent 109 days fighting for my liberty due to political interference by a Labour government whose actions I have repeatedly challenged. You cannot claim to defend freedom while treating the freedom of controversial people as expendable.

I liked Trump not for him or America, but for ME& and AFRICA. Few understood this when i said it then!! just like i liked Johnson for the UK,....& the rest of them type....Had long wished for someone like Trump to takeover America! Such leaders are good for the oppressed because they put everything out there to be seen, what CLINTON would do, but HIDE, Trump would DISPLAY, and BOAST about it like an achievement! No predictable GUARDRAILS, just foolish zero-sum game, you saw what Hitler did to Germany and Europe! If you the oppressed, you celebrate these.... In fact I told some friend from South Africa when Trump was coming in for a SECOND TERM, that if U.S was like our countries which extend term limits, and he had 3 terms, U.S was going to become an AFGHANISTAN of sorts. Not even the POST-USSR RUSSIA, but Afghanistan, or PAKISTAN! I saw it coming, and said, it was good for the World. BAD LEADERS HASTEN THE DEMISE OF EMPIRES than anything else. Look at U.S now, couldn't re-open HORMUZ? A SUPERPOWER? Trump was good for Africa, more than CLINTON, OBAMA and BUSH combined! Those were dangerous for Africa, especially OBAMA&CLINTON! They represented A LIE which was swallowed by our African Chiefs. Who dined& wined them, and then received crumbs &became ECSTATIC! Trump called AFRICA SHITHOLE...Right from the start. Saying it as it is,😎! No pretence, and for his 8 years, hasn't visited Africa! When he wanted to , he went to Egyptian City in the Sinai Peninsula, near Saudi Arabia..😉; a very HATEFUL MAN! He called our Chiefs names, subverted our countries, REMOVED USAID, UN CHARITIES..... AFRICA NEEDS MORE TRUMPS, NOT LESS!
Replying to @sejudav
I never liked him. Too much BS

Readers added context they thought people might want to know
mylondon.news/news/nostalgia… huffingtonpost.co.uk/2014/06/06/lon… theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2…

You have to be politically sound to see through the bull crap. He claims to be pro-Palestine to pander to rhetoric. But the party he joined gave Israel $21 billion dollars during Biden’s administration. Trump, the guy they claim is evil, has only given Israel $3 billion dollars🤣
🇺🇸🇮🇱 Abdul El-Sayed on criticizing Israel: "They try to call you hateful if you believe that Palestinian kids should get to grow up in the land of their forefathers without being murdered by our tax dollars. If you believe in equal rights to peace, dignity, and self-determination, that's not hate. It's love. Michiganders, we want our taxes spent here." Writer: Mhedi

Two leftist Marxist students celebrating the Islamic Revolution in Tehran, 1979. Sahar Mohammadi (left) and Maryam Rafiei (right). Maryam Rafiei was later executed by the same regime in the 1988 prison massacres, along with thousands of other leftist political activists. The revolution ate its own. They hated the Shah of Iran so much that they cheered Khomeini’s arrival, convinced the revolution would bring freedom and modernity. Reminds you of anything today?

.@elonmusk warned that if Democrats sweep the election, they’ll weaponize the government to lock in a permanent one-party state. And he’s 100% right. The DSA has LITERALLY ADMITTED they want to do this. And now a New York Times columnist just openly proposed using lawfare and civil suits to BANKRUPT former administration officials like Stephen Miller. Even when there’s NO criminal charge to bring! I'm telling you, they’ve gotten more vicious. They are dead set on crushing anyone who stands in their way and that includes YOU. I get that you might be frustrated with the GOP. I get it. But if you sit on the sidelines these midterms, just look at what you're handing our nation over to.
