80 yrs ago today, the German offensive, Watch on the Rhein, began. It was a last ditch effort to divide the allied forces & change the course of WWII. It inevitably failed, but was one of the most costly battles of the war. We know it better as the Battle of the Bulge. 🇺🇲🫡
