Vivek Ramaswamy's campaign is using Amy Acton's estranged mom, who sided with her childhood abuser, to attack her credibility.
But who's bankrolling him?

Mike Rogers became chairman of the House Intelligence Committee. Months later, his wife's defense contracting firm landed a billion-dollar government deal.
As the couple's wealth grew, so did questions about the arrangement.
@Timodc walks @AdamKinzinger through the timeline.
Major revelation here from @Timodc on the Mike and Kristi Rogers scandal.
We reported that she was Paul Bremer’s press aid in Iraq and that he traveled there frequently as a married member of Congress. He divorced his first wife in 2007 and married Kristi in 2010. Rogers joined the Intel committee in 2005.
In 2006, Kristi launched the U.S. subsidiary of Aegis, a defense contractor, which quickly started getting massive contracts.
Tim Miller adds a key detail: Kristi Clemens was Rogers’ finance director for his 2000 campaign. So they knew each other this entire time.
Rogers and his wife threatened to sue us over our first story. We stand by our reporting.

In 2020, Tommy Tuberville promised to donate “every dime” of his $174,000 Senate salary to Alabama veterans and their families. A June investigation found no evidence he followed through, a pledge now worth roughly $1 million.
Tuesday night, after a reporter asked about it, Tuberville told staff to remove him. Then he called the media “socialists” and “communists.”
The MAGA senator had a reporter thrown out of a campaign dinner after being confronted with an embarrassing question.

Vivek Ramaswamy’s ad is apparently unprecedented. It would be just awful to activate all the members of a politician’s family to attack them…as the Democrats did with every member of RFK’s family.

Acton's mother has been estranged from her daughter for 48 years because she sided with her husband (Acton's stepfather) when Acton reported that her stepfather had sexually assaulted her. FLASHBACK to JD Vance in 2022:
“I gotta be honest with you, I don’t really care what happens to Ukraine one way or the other.”
Vance has been on Putin’s side since the beginning.
Q: "Steve Witkoff called Russian President Vladimir Putin a humanitarian for agreeing to release Stephen Hubbard. Do you agree with that?"
Vance: "I agree with Steve Witkoff saying something nice to a person who just released an American hostage…We should all be celebrating that, not be complaining about what Steve Witkoff said in order to get it done."

I know it hurts to hear, but the truth is that your father is a bumbling idiot who is helping Putin slaughter civilians in Ukraine. If I need a Miami cocaine hookup, I’ll call you! But until then, you should shut the fuck up and enjoy your corrupt crypto grift while it lasts.
