My hero 🥲
Day 25/ We are doubling all usage limits for all Pro 100/200/500 tiers and Business Premium, effective today. We heard your kind feedback and won’t be reducing usage limits for Pro 200, so your Work and Codex usage will stay the same. We’re also going to continue offering extended limits for dots for now, and usage of your dot will still continue to be separate from your default usage. And we'll of course also keep shipping better models and other efficiency improvements that increase your effective usage over time.

I moved basically all my smart home scenes and automations out of HomeKit and into Home Assistant. HA is way more powerful. It's also way more in the weeds. I don't touch any of the weeds. My agents do.

It's the little stuff that adds up. Our arrive home scene used to kick on when someone just drove past the house, so now it waits until you've actually been home a few minutes. I just explained what was happening and my agents figured out the rest.

When something's off, I just say "this isn't working, here's what it's doing, do better." Any agent with access to my HA MCP can handle it. Codex, Claude, whichever one isn't rate limited that day.

Thank you @AnthropicAI Competition is beautiful 🥲
Starting today, eligible ChatGPT Pro and Business subscribers can claim up to $500 per month in API credits to build apps and agents.

You can iMessage your dot now. This is kind of huge since you can use Siri for this, even from HomePods or CarPlay. Too bad Grok Bot is still better.
By popular request, you can now text your dot. Give it a task to take off your plate or something to keep an eye on, using text, photos, or even voice notes. It will text you proactively with relevant updates. Safe, secure texting via iMessage or RCS. You’re the only one who can text your dot, and your dot can only text you. Rolling out now as a preview for Pro users in the US.

Never thought I’d see the day
We brought Touch to the Mac! From the all-new iPad mini to the 14-inch MacBook Pro and iMac... and now MacBook Pro with PROLED XDR Display and Touch, creators have new tools to do their best work yet.

One thing that's pretty much fixed my AGENTS.md files getting bloated is treating them like a directory instead of a manual. I just keep the main file short and point to subfiles for the longer stuff, so my agents only pull that in when they actually need it. And anything I end up repeating across projects basically becomes a skill instead of another AGENTS.md section. Saves tokens and leaves room for more nuance.

I’ve tried OpenClaw, Hermes, Dots… Grok Bot is the first and only personal agent that actually: - helps me in the way I want assistance - thinks of things I didn’t - understands what I’m asking for and does it None of the others came close. Maybe because they were all powered by GPT models?

It shouldn’t take an international warning for you to have 30+ days of survival supplies on hand. This should be the status quo.
JUST IN: 🇺🇸 Former FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino tells Americans to take 30-day emergency preparedness warnings seriously.

I wouldn’t buy HomeView even at half-price. Mounting an old iPad with a custom app is so easy and much more customizable. Siri AI is too little too late. Gonna play with my own home voice models and see how close to a real-life Jarvis I can get. Anyone know where I can get a voice profile of Paul Bettany? 😂

Moved pretty much all my HomeKit scenes and automations over to Home Assistant. I don't really know all of HA's logic and honestly I don't need to. I just describe how I want things to work and my agents set it up through the HA MCP. If something's off I basically just tell them it's not working and to do better

The fastest way for @UnraidOfficial to get me to buy a lifetime license is to add an MCP

Wow, 24 hours with Grok Bot and this is vastly superior to ChatGPT Dots. Or should I say Dot, singular. OpenAI really needs to support a fleet of Dots asap.

I reset usage about 10 hours ago and I’m down to 55% of the 20x plan from one goal thread.
I just started on my fourth Codex reset this week. Three banked resets + one global reset. And this is before 20x --> 10x. Much of the usage was waste because 6.1 Sol (and all of GPT) starts to overcomplicate everything and loop needlessly on longer goals. OpenAI is cooked.

After the amount of time I’ve spent coaxing GPT to simplify its code and the way it works, I really hope he’s talking about how models do work, not UI. But it’s probably UI.
All right, we’re locking in. Only things being worked on are simplifications, more efficiency for more usage, groundbreaking features or new models. Sometimes you have to invest ahead of the curve, but feedback is clear that you all want things to get simpler. On it.
