I wrote an article a couple of years ago where I put together a formula to determine how many true title contenders there were in each season. The last decade+ we’ve only had 2-3 each season. Applying the same formula we appear to have at least 6-7 so far. Super fun
I have a feeling the FCS playoffs are gonna be awesome this year!! #FCS

One question I’d have for folks, I don’t really understand having UC Davis ranked at this point, certainly not ahead of Idaho State when comparing the 2 side by side. Maybe I am missing something in the resumes

Tonight vs. Seattle, the Chiefs did not run a single play in the red zone for the first time in the Patrick Mahomes era.

Every time Sam Darnold drops back, it’s either prime Tom Brady or prime JaMarcus Russell. There is no in-between. This is what we must live with.

With our track record 2 of the last 3 weeks it essentially guarantees a Coyote victory lol
I greatly appreciate both @zachmckinnell and @Timothy_Rosy of the @The__Bluebloods taking the F’n Hawks over my Yotes. 🫡 #GoYotes #ForThePaw #DefendTheDome

That is actually completely insane
Mike asked this question on the Pod so I researched it: Since 2024, 19 of the 39 rankable opposing quarterback had one of their best games against Montana, measured by total offense: •Best game of season: 10 •Career high: 8 of those 10 •2nd or 3rd best of season: 9

I think the problem is that each individual is going to use a different logic so when a bunch of individuals vote it comes out in the aggregate as inconsistent. Which certainly can be frustrating but to some level understandable
Replying to @Timothy_Rosy
Like I said they've shown as recently as last year they'll shake this whole thing up entirely even if most of the schools win out so it's fine for now ultimately. But the lack of consistent logic is a bit frustrating.

Though I understand there is nuance- it is kind of hilarious that YSU is over SDSU and SDSU is over UND

Called this on the show lol. Hard for me to agree
Ill be super curious where Campbell and Harvard end up. I’d love to hear the argument for Harvard being over Campbell other than reputation. Campbell definitely has the best win

One thing that'll be overlooked... The CAA should be very concerned about the conference's perception. Campbell (6-0 vs. FCS) doesn't even land in the receiving votes section

If you based the FCS top 10 solely on Predictive Metrics (no resume only metrics that predict who might win next week on the field) and you take Avg Massey, SP+, Sagarin you get: 1. SDSU 2. MSU 3. YSU 4. USD 5. Ill St 6. SFA 7. UND 8. Tarleton 9. Montana 10. Austin P
