I think @staceyabrams deserves a lot of credit for building up the Democratic infrastructure in GA, so much so, that GA is blue-ish purple. We may have lost Florida (or at least struggle there) but we gained GA.

There is a reason. Black voters in most districts are the second largest voting block. Historically, the largest (white americans) overwhelmingly vote Republican. Without the Black voters (all minority tbh), everything swings right. Yes, your Black vote is that important.

Have you noticed how Black Americans are the only group of people who’s constantly told not to vote while every other group swears by it? Unless I’m missing something I’ve never seen Latinos, Asians, Indians & for damn sure white Americans constantly told that not to vote.
