That’s the claim from Elon Musk, who says Neuralink will let humans communicate with animals by 2028.
Sit with that for a second. You could finally ask your cat why it shoves glasses off the table. Or find out what your dog has been barking at outside for six hours straight.
Neuralink is Musk’s brain chip company, and now he’s pointing it at the one conversation humans have never been able to have.
2028 is closer than it sounds.
If he pulls it off, a lot of pets are about to have opinions.

Tesla unveiled its second-generation Roadster sports car with a flourish of engineering prowess. Using SpaceX rocket technology, the angular sports car climbed a curved ramp and hurled itself to a controlled landing.
The demonstration was held before a crowd of Tesla enthusiasts, some of whom paid $250,000 to reserve the car nine years ago.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk said the car enters production in 2028.
