@toly, one of the most interesting things about Cookie Chain is that almost everything inside the ecosystem has been built by a small group of degens, with essentially zero external funding.
Yet today there is a functioning @solana-stack L1, secured by multiple independent validators, with liquid staking as part of its economic and security model.
And now the $SOL + $COOK bridge between Solana <> Cookie Chain is complete.
What makes Cookie Chain interesting to me is that it didn’t simply fork Solana and call it another L1.
It took the Solana stack and experimented with a new memetic financial layer around it. Where the community itself builds, operates and owns most of the infrastructure.
No VC-driven ecosystem. No massive treasury funding development.
Just a group of people experimenting with how far the Solana stack can be pushed from the community level.
That’s a pretty unusual thing to see in crypto today. 🍪
