and now we wait
Today we’re releasing Underdog Bark 3.0, the #1 frontier speech model
It's a tiny 163 MB download as accurate as NVIDIA’s Parakeet (15x bigger). It beats OpenAI's Whisper large-v3 (57x bigger)
It's fast- transcribes 1 min of audio in <0.25s on a Macbook. On recorded meetings (AMI), Bark 3.0 gets 7.82% of words wrong. Parakeet gets 9.42%. OpenAI's Whisper large-v3 gets 13.63% error rate
Bark runs on both your Laptop & Phone. It’s free and open source under CC-BY 4.0
Try private on-device meeting notes & dictation, powered by Bark, in Underdog today: underdog.ai/bark
I would argue that YouTube isn’t giving you a list of videos that guarantees views but ones that it believes your current audience would “enjoy” the most and increase session time.
Just my two cents 🤷♂️
YouTube will literally hand you a list of video ideas that are guaranteed to get views if you open one tab that 99% of creators have never clicked
Not a third-party tool. Not paid software. A free feature YouTube built into Studio and buried 4 clicks deep because they know most people never look past the dashboard
Here's exactly where it is and how to turn it into videos this week:
Open YouTube Studio. Click Analytics. Click Research at the top
You'll see a search bar that says "Search across YouTube"
This is not Google. This is what real people are typing into YouTube's search bar right now. YouTube is showing you the data for free
Type any topic related to what you do
YouTube shows you:
→ The exact phrases real people search
→ How much volume each phrase gets
→ Whether your channel already covers that topic
→ Whether there's a "content gap" - meaning people search for it and the results are garbage
That content gap label is YouTube literally telling you "make this video and we'll show it to people because nobody else did it right"
Here's the system I run on every channel I manage:
Phase 1: The topic dump
I type 20-30 broad terms related to the channel's niche. For a roofing company: "roof repair," "metal roof vs shingles," "roof replacement cost," "roof leak"
For each one YouTube suggests 10-20 related searches from real people. I screenshot every single one. 150-200 potential video topics in about 45 minutes
Phase 2: The filter
Delete anything where:
→ YouTube shows the channel already made a video on it
→ The top results are from channels with 1M+ subscribers (too competitive for a new channel)
→ The search is too vague to signal buying intent
What's left are specific questions from real people that nobody answered well yet. Usually 40-60 topics
Phase 3: Prioritize
1. Content gap label first (YouTube is begging you to fill these)
2. High volume + low competition
3. Topics where the channel's expertise gives a real edge
4. Questions that naturally lead to a service or product
Top 20 become the next 20 videos. In order
Phase 4: Match the search
The title matches the search phrase exactly. People search "how much does a new roof cost in Texas" and the title is "How Much Does a New Roof Cost in Texas in 2026"
Not "Roofing Costs Explained." Not "Everything You Need to Know." Match the search. Get the click. YouTube rewards exact-match titles because it can clearly see the video answers what the person asked
I've watched channels go from 0 to 50,000 monthly views in 90 days using nothing but this Research Tab. No ads. No collaborations. No viral moments. Just answering questions real people are already asking, with a tool YouTube built and hid where nobody looks
One more: Open your top video. Check the search terms that brought people to it (Studio → Analytics → Traffic → YouTube search). Half won't match the video's topic, meaning YouTube sent you viewers by accident who wanted something else
Make a dedicated video for every mismatched term. Those people will come back on purpose
This feature replaced the $200/month SEO tools I used to pay for

Legit was talking about this with people yesterday that I felt YouTube was gonna do something against clipping and boom
🚨 MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT: YouTube will start prioritizing original content and reducing re-uploads (RIP clipping)
YouTube has just announced one of the most impactful changes to its short-form algorithm. Its recommendation systems (the algorithm) will start to further prioritize original content and reduce the reach of content re-uploaded from other creators without adding anything of your own.
They highlight this shift toward originality, where channels with primarily re-uploaded content will see less distribution within the Shorts feed.
It also seems like they’re really trying to put the focus on content with real value, while highlighting that YouTube doesn’t want as many “minor technical edits” or “template-based” changes. Which is basically all that clipping was in this industry.
Overall, while this will piss off some people whose entire careers were built on the premise of other people’s content (mostly clippers), the change itself is amazing and will finally address the overall quality issue we’ve been seeing.

Charging for access is playing stupid games and winning stupid prizes and their death blow.
Honestly while we still have the audience, we'd love to delegate our development power to help 2K revive it's old titles and their series entirely alongside the community. We're also incredibly versed in 2K's legacy and semi-modern game protocol. The community doesn't want 2K itself to expire but to genuinely reshape it's formfactor because it isn't working for us in it's current state. While it has turned into a trend to downplay 2K's efforts, its undeniable, thousands of users don't complain for 0 reason.
With 2K's recent actions against our socials & platform and that we can foresee the same actions be taken against the other community projects that are active, to be safe, it's best if we temporarily pause all active online Revival Services & Downloads while we attempt to navigate this journey safely. If we can safely conclude we can operate this safely, access can be re-opened at the click of a button.
