UCF is the only university that actively tried to prevent this, so out of everyone that has done this I actually disagree with them being fined.
I do appreciate the additional step is ministering on-field/court penalties though.

BYU, Utah, and Texas Tech all finish 11-1
Utah loses to BYU
BYU loses to UCF
Texas Tech loses to Cincinnati
Who goes to the championship game?

Words can’t adequately describe how thankful I am for @kalanifsitake as BYU’s head coach.
The last thing I ever want to do after a loss is listen to anything related to football, but every single time I listen to him after a loss I always feel calmer and have more perspective.
One thing I learned from last week:
Nobody, and I mean NOBODY wants to listen to the losing team’s fans whine about “no-calls” from the refs at the end.
Glasker needs to watch Satuala tackle and take notes.
Fale is one of the most sure tacklers because he rarely goes for the “big hit”, instead he makes sure to get a strong hands and hold on tight while the rest of the team rallies to get the ball carrier down.
I’m laying in the same exact spot on my bedroom floor feeling the same exact feelings that I was two years ago against Kansas.
