A leaderboard position and a qualified validator are two different things. I think that's the detail people should pay more attention to in GenLayer's Pre-Mainnet Staking. Your GEN builds Staking Points over time. Every staked GEN earns 1 point per day, so starting earlier gives your position more time to grow. But there's another requirement that points alone cannot satisfy. You need a node running on Clarke for at least 30 days to qualify for a node seat. I actually like this distinction. It separates two kinds of commitment: putting GEN behind your position and proving that you have a node ready to participate in the network. At the mainnet snapshot, eligible seats are distributed proportionally to Staking Points. Winners then start as validators initially backed by the Foundation's GEN, earning GEN fees for the transactions they process. So I wouldn't look at the leaderboard alone as the whole picture. Would you prioritize building points early or getting your 30-day node requirement out of the way first? @GenLayer
At mainnet, the Foundation will back a set of validators with its own GEN. Those are the node seats, and Pre-Mainnet Staking decides who gets them. Points, leaderboard, nodes: all in one minute 👇

“Squads tournament fucked everything.” Wickesy explains how coordinated wallets changed the trenches. Once traders realized they could work together, copy trades and profit from the same calls, the entire game shifted. 👀 Ft - @Wickesy_ || @Cupseyy||@Pumpfun

What if the data you consider secure today becomes an open book tomorrow, without you ever knowing ? That is one of the biggest long-term security challenges facing blockchain, and it is exactly where the collaboration between @verona_dev and @PQabelian becomes interesting. Verona focuses on establishing what can be trusted, while Abelian brings the cryptographic foundation to keep sensitive information protected in a post-quantum world. Think about digital identities, transaction records and personal information. Their relevance does not disappear with time. However, the cryptographic systems protecting them today may eventually become vulnerable to advances in quantum computing. This creates a serious security challenge known as "Harvest Now, Decrypt Later." Attackers can collect encrypted data today, store it and wait until quantum computers become powerful enough to break the encryption. The real concern goes beyond whether your information is secure right now. It is whether the same protection will remain effective 10, 15 or 20 years from today. Abelian has been addressing this challenge since 2022. Its blockchain launched with lattice-based cryptography at its foundation, avoiding dependence on conventional elliptic-curve cryptography and reducing the need for a future migration to quantum-resistant keys. Privacy is another important part of its architecture. Users have control over how much information their wallets reveal, ranging from fully shielded transactions to selective disclosure for auditors they authorize. This is where the collaboration with Verona becomes particularly interesting. Verifiable information needs lasting protection. Establishing the authenticity of digital information is important, but preserving its confidentiality against future threats is equally essential. The long-term success of Web3 will depend on infrastructure that can protect both. $VERONA
Verona proves what's true. @PQabelian keeps it private past Q-Day. A fact about a person has a shelf life of a lifetime. The encryption protecting it has a shelf life that ends the day a quantum computer can read it, and that gap is what both teams are working on.

Weekend football predictions are in. Let's see if I can cook, or I get cooked. 💀 I've put together a 3-pick combo on @bagel_win: ⚽ Bournemouth over Ipswich ⚽ Chelsea over Sunderland ⚽ Aston Villa over Man United The combo is showing a 12.77x multiplier. I'm fairly comfortable with my first two picks, but Aston Villa vs Man United? You can never fully relax when United are involved. They might lose to a team you expect them to beat, then suddenly play like prime Barcelona the following week. 😂 Anyway, let's see if my three picks survive Sunday. To get started: bagel.win/?ref=BIGMIKE

The interesting thing with stablecoins is where we are earning interest with our capital. Let’s take our $10,000 in USDT deposits and see what we could get back after one year. → Traditional Savings ➤ 0.38% ~$38 interest earned per annum. → GRVT Earn ➤ 3.5% APY ~$350 earned per annum. → GRVT High Yield Earn ➤ Up to 11% target APY Up to $1,100 earned per annum if target APY is met. The differences are pretty big. So where are we getting this extra yield? @grvt_io High Yield Earn offers a wide range of yield strategies both traditional (TradFi) and crypto native strategies such as tokenised fixed income, real-world asset funding, crypto lending and market neutral. With this we aim to diversify our yields, offering multiple opportunities to earn returns. Of course as the potential yield is higher there will be more risks involved. The 11% rate is a target and actual yields may vary depending on the strategies below, market performance and liquidity. This is an important point. We need to understand where the yield is coming from and what risks we are taking by earning a higher amount of returns. Same amount of capital ($10,000) same time frame but different ways of earning. DYOR. Not Financial Advice.

Happy Evening! The more I explore the NFT ecosystem on Fogo, the more I realize that understanding ownership data is just as important as tracking floor prices. That's one reason I'm paying attention to @VelixoMarket After looking into Velixo's latest platform features and documentation, I found an interesting part of its infrastructure: dedicated on-chain NFT indexers. Here's what caught my attention: → Supply Tracking Understand the total NFT supply within a collection and monitor changes over time. → Holder Distribution Explore how NFTs are distributed across different wallets instead of judging a collection by its floor price alone. → Burn Metrics Track permanently burned NFTs to get a clearer picture of circulating supply. → Block-Level Updates Velixo's Fogo indexer refreshes collection data with every block, helping collectors access updated on-chain information. Another interesting detail is that Velixo provides collection statistics alongside marketplace activity, including floor prices, trading volume, listings, and unique holders. Why does this matter? Imagine two NFT collections with similar floor prices. One has ownership distributed across hundreds of wallets, while the other is heavily concentrated among a few holders. Their market prices might look similar, but their underlying ownership structures tell different stories. This is why I believe on-chain transparency matters. Velixo is bringing NFT trading and collection research closer together, giving collectors more information before making decisions. For me, better research starts with better data. And that's an important direction for the NFT ecosystem on Fogo.
gVelixo ☕ Big things are happening at @VelixoMarket 👀 Velixo started its journey on @fogo and is now expanding beyond it. Robinhood Chain is officially live on Velixo, bringing more opportunities for NFT traders. Users can now buy, sell, sweep, make offers, accept bids and even gift NFTs directly to another wallet. What I really like is the extra security. Every transaction is checked against official contracts before users sign. Same Velixo experience, more chains and more possibilities. Feels like Velixo is just getting started.

Read this to the end. It will save someone's life. I WAS A YAHOO BOY FOR 3 YEARS. THIS IS WHAT NOBODY TELLS YOU. My name is Tobi. I was 19 when I entered. I was not hungry. I was not broke. I was just tired of watching my mates post Benz on WhatsApp while I was still begging my mama for transport fare to school. One night, my friend Femi called me. He said, "Guy, come make money, no stress." I followed him. First month, nothing. Second month, nothing. Third month, I saw my first alert. 850k. I cried. I had never held that kind of money in my life. That was the trap. From that day, I stopped going to class. I stopped calling my mother. I stopped sleeping at night. My life became laptop, darkness, and fake laughter. I bought iPhone. I bought chain. I rented a fine apartment in Lekki. Girls loved me. Boys respected me. On Instagram, I was a big boy. But offline, I was dying slowly. I could not sleep without taking something. I could not eat without feeling guilty. Every time my phone rang, my heart would jump. Every police siren made me run to hide. One night, I dreamt my mother was crying at my grave. She was saying, "Tobi, I did not raise you for this." I woke up sweating. That same week, EFCC picked Femi. The same Femi that introduced me. They carried him from his house by 4am. Till today, nobody knows where he is. That was when I knew: This life has no retirement plan. You either go to prison, you go to grave, or you run forever. I deleted everything. I gave my laptop to a pastor. I started learning plumbing. People laughed at me. "Big boy don turn plumber?" they said. Today, I am 22. I don't have Benz. I don't have chain. But I sleep peacefully. I can walk past police checkpoint without my heart beating. My mama can now proudly say, "Na my pikin be that." Yahoo money is fast. But peace of mind is priceless. If you are thinking of entering, don't. If you are already inside, there is still a way out. I am proof. If you want Part 2 where I was almost caught by EFCC, follow me for more and turn on post notis. I will drop it soon.
