A reminder of this animal abuser who violently beat a puppy to death.
Thomas James Eddinson, from Gainsborough, beat one-year-old Jack Russell Oreo to death in a sustained attack while caring for his partner’s dog.
A post-mortem revealed horrific injuries, including a ruptured liver, extensive internal bleeding, bruising across his body and damage to his brain and eye.
Afterwards, Eddinson sent his ex-partner a video taunting her about what he had done.
In March 2021, he admitted causing unnecessary suffering to an animal. He received an 18-week prison sentence, suspended for two years, 150 hours of unpaid work and a 10-year ban on keeping animals.
The court heard he had experienced foster care, mental health difficulties and dyslexia in mitigation.
Oreo lost his life in a brutal attack. Eddinson avoided imprisonment.

月最大300匹の猫を屠殺して、猫肉のスープや肉料理を提供していたベトナム北部のレストランが、5年間営業した後、自主的に閉業。
猫をバケツに入れて1匹ずつ溺死させ、棒で押さえつけて屠殺。
店主自身も「苦しむのを見て申し訳なく思った」と述べている。
経済的理由で猫肉をメニューに加えたものの、良心の呵責を感じて国際動物福祉団体に相談。
助成金を受けて閉店し、代わりに食料品店を開く方向に転身した。
「ベトナムでは猫の盗難が非常に一般的で、ここで売られた猫の多くが、誰かの愛するペットだったのに申し訳ない。
これまで何千匹もの猫を屠殺してきたことを考えると胸が痛む」と述べている。
閉店直前に溺死させられる予定だった20匹の猫は、地元で譲渡され、店主は最終日に「猫肉」の看板を自ら引き剥がした。
ベトナムでは年間約100万匹の猫が肉用に殺されている。
調査では、国民の87%が自分のペットが盗まれたか、知人が盗まれた経験があると回答。
猫をペットとして見る意識は徐々に広がっているが、取引自体は残っている。

旺旺の最期は実に凄惨です。針金で首を縊くられ、釘が打たれた棒で叩かれたのです。彼女は逃げるに逃げられず、悲鳴を上げ、激痛に身をよじっていました。しかし旺旺は決して少年らに噛みつきませんでした。
少年たちは嘲笑いながら旺旺を打ち、彼女の最愛の子供たちを殺しました。そして、旺旺にガソリンを浴びせかけ火を点けたのです。炎に包まれて彼女は暴れました。暴れながら子供を見つけると、燃えながら近寄って周囲を回り、生きているかどうかを舐めて確認し、子供の死を知ると動くのを止めてしまいました。
それ以後も少年らは旺旺を叩いていたようですが、私の見た動画はそこまででした。
