🎉Bienvenue à la DPC, @LibraryArchives 🇨🇦

Take a look at my #WDPD2023 blog post on the DPC's site and learn about what I am thinking about re: digital preservation policies dpconline.org/blog/wdpd/wdpd…
Just attended the launch of the #DPCBitList 2023 ! Am now thinking of all the ways the great research & info in it can be leveraged from a policy POV :) #WDPD2023
“The preservation of authentic digital materials cannot be taken for granted, and it’s never been more essential.”
The #DPCBitList 2023 is published on #WDPD2023, and calls for more action to preserve at-risk digital materials.

From #iPres2022 to all #digipres peeps around the world, we proudly present the
📖IPRES 2022 PROCEEDINGS📖
Read all about it on ipres2022.scot/news/
This is the crux of it and why digitization ≠ digital preservation. Such a great & succinct thread on this topic! #WDPD2022 #digitalpreservation
Digitisation is not digital preservation. Digitisation NEEDS digital preservation. 5/5 #WDPD2022
Hooray! And a great way to spend #WDPD2022 - reading some of the papers from @ipres2022 and (re)watching the keynotes.
The recordings which were made at #iPres2022 will be available to all delegates in December...
However, as a teaser we're sharing the recordings of the three keynotes along with the proceedings today on #WDPD2022 📽️🍿
Enjoy!

Wondering who can hook me up with @dpc_chat tartan scarf!
A new tartan that has been commissioned to celebtate the 20th anniverary of the Digital Preservation Coalition which is being celebrated at #iPres2022 here in Glasgow. What a terrific idea. There's the choice of a scarf, tie or hip flask for delegates here at the conference.
