Now that the Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance soundtrack is up, I want to direct your attention to the track that sounds like the NIN song from the 300 trailer dropped into the Transformers theme

Hey, I'm on the sky app too. I've finally stopped squatting on my username and started posting. bsky.app/profile/tomaznable.…
I went back and forth on whether the people making RfV were Zeonic Front fans. The perspective, the ground pounding – even a squad called the Midnighters. But no, nobody who's played Zeonic Front would have a Zaku take a tank blast directly to the back and then show it unscathed.
As far as how the mecha, they feels a bit inconsistent, especially in terms of sense of weight. Sometimes the EX is too light and zippy, sometimes it's fine. You see Gouf Customs that really ought to have been Flight Types. The first time a GM pops up, it's weirdly hard to kill.
Still don't love the overall look of the EX, and I like it applied to the GM even less. Zeon MS and vehicles for both sides are much closer to their typical presentation and generally look pretty strong. We get probably the most love for carriers & Zaku tanks in any Gundam show.
I officially disavow anything bad I have said about Requiem for Vengeance at any point. This show knows what's really important.
