When I joined WS in 2008, they were already doing great. They rode the WWE boom in France from 2007 to 2011, filling out arenas, having 4 to 6 shows per week ends, splitting crews into A and B teams.
We had a few "big arena" shows as we call them here.
Truly one helluva ride. – at Villefranche-sur-Mer, France
Yep. I believe that's correct. Over 100 shows per year and some pretty strong crowds overall for an independent promotion.
I'm sure @TomLaRuffa can say even more about that. He was there front and center for most of the big run, which was starting to slow down by 2012, I think.
Incredible !
Love your work bro. – at Villefranche-sur-Mer, France
Yes, I've seen that one before. Good stuff!
If you're in the mood for an even deeper cut, check out what I believe to be Jacky Richard's first ever TV match way back in 1966 and it's against Le Petit Prince no less.

Brother, Flesh is still running shows. I believe he's going onto his 50th year in the industry.
It's marathon, not a sprint.
The real ones stay around forever.

Simply put, working for Flesh gave me the in ring level to sign with WWE.
By the way @RealSamAdonis and @Phil_Lions , check this gem I watched the other day :

One of them, Jacky, trained Andre the Giant, and was refereeing when you were there Sam.

And nobody has ever done this ever since in France. Not in the same quantity and quality of shows or depth of roster.
This was truly modern day golden age era of the French pro wrestling scene. – at Saint-André-de-la-Roche, France
Fascinating Article by @Phil_Lions
I worked for Flesh Gordon in 2012 and was fascinated by how polished and professional the scene was at the time!
The French scene has so much depth and history worth looking into!!
