Reading this and trying to put yourself in the mind of someone who can’t comprehend the comparison is hard on the brain.
Comparing Manchester City to Lance Armstrong is absolutely miles off it. 🤣 He PHYSICALLY doped and gave him an unfair advantage that no amount of training or equipment could match. It wasn’t a case as simple as him having a better bike or equipment to gain a slight advantage. City did not dope or use PEDs. The advantage came from (compared to some clubs but not others) more investment and also just far better investment in the squad, infrastructure, coaching etc. essentially building a better ‘bike’ in the process and then using it more effectively than other teams on the whole.

If it’s Eddie Howe, it is what it is, what can you do. Decent manager but would obviously fail at United. Who knows, maybe for a team around the relegation zone, could be the man for 12 months. However, my main issue would have that Jason Tindall lunatic embarrassing our club😔

From Carrick’s point of view simply as a football man. It must be horrible to get sacked off the back of players not able to lace your boots. Obviously many wider issues of course but on the pitch, it’d be so frustrating for managers with how bad the modern day players are.

An arrival today to give me a little happiness from Man United. A first day cover signed by George Best. Been on the lookout for an autograph & thought this was a decent little piece. My joy supporting United now just comes from sitting in a room surrounded by memorabilia😞🇾🇪

3-0 was expected. We have evidence of that and Bournemouth are a far better team than United. So I’m not surprised at that. My surprise comes from my stupidity of watching it and knowing I’ll watch the next game.

So enjoyable watching United’s 18s smashing Liverpool. A small reminder of some of the good around United. Watching the youth always brings something to remind you of what Man Utd is. Great to see an Aussie out there, Rooney continue to develop & a players simply giving 100% 🇾🇪

Watching a United “fan” who thought Phil Neville started the 99 UCL final over Ryan Giggs, continue to just pile needless shit on Carrick every single day is one of the most draining parts of this club 😔 #mufc

I love Bruno. However, deep down I’ve always had massive questions & concerns that keep him below some greats that his quality might have put him up with. He has been great but he’s also been a part of the worst of it. Far from the problem but I don’t disagree too much here.
Bruno’s comments 🤯

This issue many had was not getting their head around that people thought a top level coach would help us 😂
They called me toxic for saying it at the end of last season that the board would be making a MISTAKE giving Carrick the job permanently. Anyone with common sense knew the right thing to have done was thank him, wish him well, and stick to the original plan of appointing a top-level coach.

Set the alarm for 3:40am knowing full well we’d get embarrassed. That’s fine, I expect that but I’m always shocked at how fundamentally flawed anyone who wears a United shirt becomes when they sign. Como are very good but the gap between professionals should never be this wide.

Will never get over the fact he was clearly the best player in the league for 2 seasons but the first one at Western Sydney Wanderers, the manager had him coming on in the 87th minute each week to screen the back 4 😂 So glad he got to showcase his ability the following season.
It’s never too late to enjoy football. A season I will never forget. I love you @gomvfc! 💙 THANK YOU Australia 🇦🇺 @aleaguemen

Dusting the boots off for a kick about tomorrow. Won’t walk for a week after it but all for a good cause along side United supporters 🇾🇪 #mufc

I’m not taking the piss, this was one of the greatest games in recent history. Pouring rain, tackles flying in, goals, drama, beating Leeds, it was honestly a throwback to everything good about Man United and Premier League football. Cant say I’m hopeful of a repeat though 😔

PSG are a mirror image of City. There is just no interest from anyone but of course they’ve been doing the same stuff.
🚨 PSG's sponsorship agreement with the Qatar Tourism Authority between 2011 and 2018 was worth between €100M and €200M per year. 🇫🇷💰 However, independent valuations by Repucom and Octagon estimated the deal's actual market value at just €2.78M annually. (Source: @Lu_Class_)

Lisandro Martinez quotes….. I like it. But I also think win some tackles instead please mate. I like the pressure it brings. However, Carrick losing his job after Leeds will be the result, not Wilcox. I love how he highlighted it but also hate our dirty washing in public 😞

I spoke to my mum who thinks Ronaldo still plays for United (from the first stint) and she says the mood is rock bottom.
Spoke to an individual who is in a position of knowledge and he just told me that the mood amongst the players is rock bottom, a number of them feel let down by the club and misinformed over ambition.

There are a few tactical things here, Twitter isn’t the place to break that down. However, over the last 10 years, our decisions to give free passes out to the fullback will never cease to amaze me. Every winger “closing down” opens that channel to allow teams out. Embarrassing.
Look the space available and distance he carries here! 😂 Laughable

It sounds like it’s one of those knee jerk reactions but it’s the reality. You have to accept a relegation battle is real. Spurs are in one & we’re not much better. Every team in the league can comfortably beat us. This is going one direction & we know how it ends & repeats…

This is brilliant 😂
Manchester United fans will welcome back the historic Stretford End ‘ticker’ for Saturday’s home game against Tottenham Hotspur. The flag first appeared hanging from the newly built upper tier of the Stretford End in 2000 with ‘24 YEARS’ — marking when rivals Manchester City had last won a trophy, their 1976 League Cup triumph — but was taken down after City won the FA Cup in 2011, by which time it had risen to ‘35 YEARS’. 📝 @AndyMitten 🔗 nyti.ms/4hQe4ZQ

I honestly can’t get my head around how Liverpool & City are pushing this idea that United & the Glazers should be punished for the debt. Don’t get me wrong, do anything to punish the owners but our owners are doing the furthest thing from cheating, it’s literally the opposite😂
