Reality: The proposed defense budget grows at 3.2% while the rest of the federal budget grows at 7.3%

Explanation: Pay raise is legally required to match the ECI, and the reason it is so high is out of control Biden-inflation.
Last week Xi Jinping announced a 7.2% growth in the CCP defense budget. Yesterday, Joe Biden announced a 3.2% growth in U.S. defense; likely at least 1-2% below expected inflation. So, who is serious about national defense?
Finally the US decides to send #M1 tanks, best in world, to Ukraine. Should not have been this hard. Gas guzzling? Yes. Anyone look at the MPG for a HMMWV? All combat vehicles are guzzlers.
