Once again, for your own safety, DO NOT come to the US. It's very, very dangerous for, well, everyone, but especially foreigners, women, people who aren't white, trans people, you get the picture. It's not worth the risk, these gestapo goons will do anything they want.

Fox News pulls the plug on Trump’s live rally—you know he’s crossed a line even his friends can’t comfortably ignore.
Trump is doing a mocking bedtime skit about Ilhan Omar, complete with a grotesque imitation and the sing-song sign-off: “Darling, I love you very much. Good night, brother. Let’s go to bed!”
This is the president of the United States, using his megaphone to turn a congresswoman into the target of a sneering, degrading performance.
And when Fox News cuts away, the question isn’t why the network couldn’t stomach the spectacle. It’s how anyone can defend a president who thinks this is an acceptable use of the office.
Good night, brother. The country deserves a president who knows the difference between leadership and a cheap shot.

I’m sorry but I just don’t see AOC or even Bernie Sanders ever having the balls to seize Trump’s passport.
America lacks not just the courage, but also institutional tools to effectively combat fascism.

It's fucking crazy that an investigation exposing how Jared Kushner laundered billions if dollars through Azerbaijan, including payments to a warlord, a mercenary, and a hitman, isn't getting more attention.

BREAKING: Pentagon prepares every major US military base to operate for at least 90 days without outside electricity, fuel, water or supplies, anticipating a major war that could cripple power grids, break global supply chains and threaten critical infrastructure on US soil, per Fox News.
The plans include portable nuclear reactors, large-scale battery storage and microgrids able to disconnect installations from the civilian electrical grid entirely.
Absolutely wild to listen to the guy with the nuclear football wheeze and rasp onstage about staring at people's asses (right to their face too), after days of jarring neural spasms
Unbelievable acceleration of dementia we're seeing here

I don’t think the average person in America knows how close they are to being on the wrong side of this situation. These cops are fucking crazy out here. They flip a switch and that’s it, your life is over bc they misunderstood you or just got frustrated with themselves
I can't wait until his inhibitions deteriorate so much that he just starts bragging onstage about raping women and/or children and says it was for the good of the country or whatever the fuck

Arguably, there’s nothing more political than the erasure of artists, composers and writers from this world, just so people like Tim can get even richer.
Billionaires HATE art because it gives ordinary people a voice. That terrifies them.
lmao I was blocked on Bsky by @ArgonautGames_ for criticizing their choice to continue working with Palmer Luckey (military contractor & MAGA ballfondler)
Don't support the modern #Croc releases or anything else they do, it directly benefits a drone manufacturer & war profiteer

Google workers are resigning over the company’s AI contracts with the military.
In the BBC article on this development, one employee alludes to Google contracts mandating that workers refrain from criticizing the company for the rest of their lives.

ALT Employees at Google have told the BBC that staff are scared to speak out about AI safety and its uses in warfare because their employment contracts prohibit them from publicly criticising the company. "In principle I'm not allowed to criticise Google for the duration of my life," Sofia Liguori told the BBC. But she decided to do so "because I believe it's important for these things to be known and I also think that talking about facts is not criticising".

Things are moving so fast that everyone seems to have completely missed how insane it is that AI companies have been allowed to unleash agentic AI products with no regulatory guidelines.
SCOOP: Major U.S. banks are detecting unauthorized third-party AI agents inside customer accounts, including some attempting to take actions that appear to be independent of user instructions, sources told Axios.
The findings have alarmed banking executives, who are racing to restrict access to their systems as AI moves at a velocity faster than financial institutions can respond, multiple industry and bank executives told Axios.
Several banks are now preparing for worst-case and even “day after” scenarios, including how to rapidly secure or restore customer accounts if things go wrong, the people said.
Several bank executives told Axios they're struggling to distinguish between human users and AI agents. One executive said banks also struggle to determine whether agents are authorized by customers or potentially operating without their permission, more akin to rogue agent behavior.
