This is a necessary step in supporting economic opportunity and improving public health.
Through Senate Bill 118 passed in 2023 funds were allocated to the Health districts. Northern Nevada Public Health agreed to budget 100k to reduce barriers for street vendors.
The city of Long Beach plans to provide dozens of free food carts to vendors as part of its program that aims to support sidewalk vendors abc7.la/3Uff2ED
I can’t handle anymore good news
In an #NVLeg update: state Sen. Edgar Flores (D-Las Vegas) will be the new Senate Majority Leader.
Don’t mess with Latinos
Joe Lombardo is the strong and very popular Governor of Nevada, a very special place to me in that we had a BIG Presidential Election Win on November 5, 2024!
As the former Sheriff of Clark County, and brave U.S. Army Veteran, Joe strongly supports our incredible Law Enforcement, Military, and Veterans, and knows the Wisdom and Courage it takes to Promote LAW AND ORDER. As Governor, he is fighting tirelessly to Grow the Economy, Cut Taxes and Regulations, Promote NO TAX ON TIPS, Advance MADE IN THE U.S.A., Unleash American Energy DOMINANCE, Provide Access to Affordable Health Care, Champion School Choice, Keep our Border SECURE, Stop Migrant Crime, and Defend our always under siege Second Amendment. Joe’s opponent, Aaron Ford, is a Radical Left Democrat who wants massive Tax Increases, Open Borders, Men playing in Women’s Sports, and Transgender Mutilization of your Children. Aaron Ford is Reckless, Radical, and Dangerous!
Joe Lombardo is SMART, STRONG, AND TOUGH, and has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Re-Election. GET OUT AND VOTE FOR JOE — HE WILL NEVER LET YOU DOWN! President DONALD J. TRUMP

Donald Trump and Republicans FAFO’d with Latino voters tonight. Don’t you ever attack our families like that!

Mike Rogers is 100% on board with Trump’s extreme MAGA agenda that is hurting working Americans. It’s disgraceful that Haley Stevens has chosen to support him.

I won't be at the event because I will be teaching, and I will attend our ceremony that morning. This is a really weird thing to make up and attack me about.
However, RFK Jr and Elon Musk sabotaged the victims fund, and yet you still support them:

We know your plan was created with AI so we decided to fix it.
We’ve delivered a lot in 3.5 years and I’m ready to keep doing it.
As Nevadans, we have repeatedly proven there is nothing we can't accomplish if we agree to work together. That’s the Nevada Way. That’s who we are.
I’ve laid out five pillars to build on our success and build a future we define together.

Held a town hall with Nevadans to hear how rising utility bills are squeezing their budgets. My plan: block NV Energy’s demand charge hike, make data centers pay for their own power, and expand affordable clean energy.
Nevadans come first, not greedy utilities and certainly not massive data centers.

Councilman Barron’s legacy could’ve been defined by uplifting Latino candidates and helping usher in a new generation of elected leaders.
Instead, he chose division, allowing his own self-interest to cloud his judgment. I’m grateful the residents of SD 2 saw through it.
RACE CALL: Edgar Flores is projected to win the Democratic primary for District 2 Senate.

The problem with moving to the middle is that it leaves Latino and immigrant communities out to dry.
Groups pushing this approach are part of the reason Democrats struggle. Instead of abandoning the communities that helped build their coalition.
“Working people used to feel like they were the backbone of this country … Now they feel like they're treated as an inconvenience.”
Is moving to the middle Democrats’ ticket to winning working-class voters and the White House?

A failed councilman consistently sold out the Latino community and street vendors. He’s not one of us.
North Las Vegas Councilman Issac Barron has set his sights on Edgar Flores’ state Senate seat, setting up a Democratic primary that has divided powerful unions over a failed film tax credit proposal.

Councilman Barron talks like a Democrat, but his record tells a different story. He has taken shots at street vendors, refuses to give a clear answer on ICE and 287g, voted against neighborhood stability, and backs opportunity scholarships.

I was honored to meet with Las Vegas Deaf Seniors (LVDS) to discuss how SB188 has helped those with limited English proficiency access health care. We spoke about the Senator Donaté’s work to address these challenges for Spanish-speaking Nevadans. This is real policy change.
