Extraordinary. Just 18 per cent - 36,000 - of the 202,000 people who responded to the consultation on the Home Office's crackdown on indefinite leave to remain were British citizens. Three quarters were "current visa holders". Critics now asking if it is any wonder Shabana Mahmood's immigration reforms were watered down. More now on @GBNEWS.

The cope is dead.
“We contribute.”
The chart is right there.
White households are the only ones in surplus.
Everyone else is a net fiscal drain.
That’s not a debate.
That’s the ONS.
You take more than you put in.
The numbers shut the claim down.
“We built Britain.”
No.
The English did.
Centuries of continuous settlement, law, industry and institutions on these islands before you arrived.
A passport or a birth certificate doesn’t rewrite that.
You didn’t build it.
You turned up later and started consuming it.
“If all the immigrants left the economy would collapse.”
The opposite.
Remove the net recipients and the people who still fund the system are better off.
The infrastructure, the NHS, the welfare, paid for by the historic population that remains the only group in credit.
You are not the engine.
You are the cost.
You’re staring at the government’s own data and still running the same script.

🚨 82% of those that responded to the Labour Government’s consultation on their new immigration policies… were foreign.
Including refugees, asylum seekers, visa holders & applicants.
Foreigners have shaped our immigration policies.

I was repeatedly told that Shabana Mahmood as Home Secretary would be hardline and tough. Anyone who disagreed was dismissed as a "closet racist."
At the first big test, she buckles to the far-left, open borders activists in her party. Pathetic.

Plenty of people on here and in the media praised Shabana Mahmood as the voice of reason in this Labour Govt. I always said I didn't trust that her policies would match her rhetoric.
And now we know: It was all talk and no action. Labour is committed to open borders. Full stop.

Shabana Mahmood has been humiliated.
She talked the talk on migration but under pressure from Labour minsters, she’s backed down.
Andy Burnham didn’t support her.
Her u-turn will let hundreds of thousands of migrants get Indefinite Leave to Remain.
She knows this policy is a disaster. That’s why she wanted a tougher one.
When I was faced with the same problem — as Rishi Sunak, under pressure from Tory wets failed to stop the boats — I resigned.
Because in the end, politics isn’t about having a job, it’s about doing one.
Instead Andy Burnham and Shabana Mahmood have set us on a path to a permanently changed country.
It’s a mistake we will rue for generations to come.
Unless Reform UK are elected and reverse it.

Labour has said that small boat illegals will have to wait either 20 or 30 years for settlement.
Welcoming these invaders is suicide. Societal, economic, civilisational suicide.

Burnham has no knowledge of our history.
Nobody has done more to abolish the slave trade than Britain. We have more than paid our reparations.
Reform will never cave in to this nonsense and will ban visas from any country that continues to demand reparations from Britain.
Tony Walker retweeted
We will review every citizenship granted due to Open Borders Burnham's horrific U-turn today.
If a migrant doesn't unambiguously benefit Britain, their citizenship will be revoked.
The Boriswave must be reversed.

@ShabanaMahmood just committed political suicide on national TV.
Basically if you are British Citizen you must pay 38 years full stamp to get a pension. Whilst illegals will get it after 3 years. But according to @UKLabour this is totally fair!
Tony Walker retweeted
By watering down her already weak immigration reforms, Shabana Mahmood has just confirmed that the far-left rule Labour.
We’re now going to see a BurnhamWave which could cause irreparable harm to Britain.
They’re about to be reminded why Reform UK gained momentum.

And there we have it. Hundreds of thousands of low-skilled workers set to be given ILR, putting them within touching distance of a British passport.
Mahmood has surrendered control of Britain's immigration policy to rabid backbenchers and shrill open border charities.

So they just need to spend thirty years poncing off the taxpayer and then they’ll be made permanent residents. Genius.
Tony Walker retweeted
This is the sort of subversion we should expect from a Home Secretary who demonises our demographic security.
Upon obtaining ILR, any Boriswaver who was even working in social care at all will have every incentive to leave the profession, claim benefits, and then the state will cite shortages as an excuse to import yet more.
You’re just a bunch of raving loonies now. Please explain why you have lost 20,000 members recently

Nearly 1,700 undocumented men have now arrived illegally in the last four consecutive days. 🇬🇧
💯 percent this.
Once a culture is gone, it doesn't come back.
The pubs, the dialect, the village traditions, the slower pace of life, none of it exists by accident and none of it is guaranteed to still be here in another generation.
It survives because people choose to keep it alive.
Worth remembering, before it's too late 🥰
