App builders now charge you twice: for the product, then for AI credits with a margin on top.
Some of them even wrapped an API endpoint, called it MCP, and let your coding agent burn those marked-up credits for them.
We did the opposite. Our open-source MCP server exposes everything a coding agent needs to build an app on ToolJet. It bypasses our AI credits entirely. You pay Anthropic or OpenAI. We get nothing.
We make money when you pay for the product. So our only job on AI is to make it use fewer of your tokens. Not to mint an ARR line out of your token bill.

Luna with max reasoning sometimes took more than one hour but generates fully functional polished apps.

We spent 11 months building our own agents to generate @ToolJet apps.
Sadly, we had to nuke the whole repo last week!!!
What we were trying to build became a skill of Claude Code at some point & we didn't notice.
Instead of our own agents, we are now exposing our entire platform as tiny MCP tools. Claude Code can now assemble an entire ToolJet application; well...better than our agents.
No, we didn't pivot to vibe-coding - no code is being generated.
