Kherson. Ceasefire. A rare walk through just one part of the city. The scale of destruction must be seen and known. Usually, we cannot walk here because of the drones infesting the skies—so this is hidden. This is a European city. 2026.

MATRICE 4T - REINFORCE ZAPORIZHZHIA FRONT The 1st Assault Battalion, 225th Separate Assault Regiment asked for a help with a reconnaissance drone. 🎯: $4,500 ✅: $1,394 (30%) Please keep it going🙏: 💳: donorbox.org/225th-matrice-4… Low visibility is when everyone wants to move, to remain undetected. That is why high quality thermal drones are SO important in these hot sectors with a lot of activity. Matrice 4T = their eyes in low visibility conditions. Help these brave soldiers. 🙏 #OneTeamOneFight #UkraineDefenders @Dmitro7607 @DmytroKovalchu5

🇳🇴🇺🇦 How can Ukrainian soldiers apply for a vehicle from Ukrainian Freedom Convoys (UFC)? Every week, we receive desperate requests from Ukrainian soldiers who need vehicles. We understand their situation, and we wish we could help every single one of them. But the reality is that demand far exceeds our resources. We have received more than 270 requests for our autumn convoys alone. That is far more than we can possibly fulfil. How are vehicles allocated? UFC operates a democratic allocation process. Requests are considered collectively to ensure that vehicles are distributed as fairly and responsibly as possible. We cannot simply buy a vehicle and prioritise one particular soldier or unit because someone contacts us directly. There are hundreds of soldiers waiting, many in equally desperate situations. Every request deserves fair consideration. What does a vehicle cost? On average, approximately NOK 40,000 (€3,400–3,500) covers purchasing a suitable used vehicle, necessary repairs and preparation. Our volunteer drivers cover their own travel expenses. That means: NOK 40,000 can fund approximately one vehicle. NOK 200,000 can fund approximately five. NOK 400,000 can fund approximately ten. Actual costs vary depending on the vehicles and repairs required. How can soldiers apply? Our application list is currently closed because of the overwhelming demand. Applications reopen on 10 January 2027. Contact: Mariia Dushenko (Signal): +47 941 57 542 Ole Kvåle (Signal): +47 416 51 682 Email: [email protected] Want to see more vehicles delivered? Help us fund them. UFC depends on private donations and volunteers. We cannot increase deliveries without additional financial support. Donations enable us to help more soldiers through our established allocation process, not simply move individual requests ahead of others. SUPPORT UKRAINIAN FREEDOM CONVOYS: PayPal: paypal.com/ncp/payment/WNDN6… Vipps: 860247 Bank account: 1813 72 81259 Website: ufconvoys.no/en We have the volunteers. We have the requests. What we need is funding for more vehicles. Every donation brings us closer to helping another Ukrainian unit. More donations. More vehicles. More lives saved. I Don’t Have Heroes. Never Really Had Any. I Have Degrees of Admiration. But Volodymyr Zelenskyy Makes Me Think. 🇺🇦 I never really had heroes in my life. I admire people. I can love them, respect them, appreciate their achievements, and sometimes admire them enormously. But I don’t worship people. Never did. Doesn’t matter if it’s a president, a pope, Jesus, or anyone else. My admiration has always existed on a spectrum, from almost none to enormous. But nobody is above criticism, and nobody belongs on a pedestal. And yet, something about Volodymyr Zelenskyy struck me today. His transparency. Or, more precisely, his extraordinary consistency in communicating with the public. For years, I’ve watched this man lead a country fighting for its survival against Russia’s full-scale invasion. I’ve watched him face enormous military, political, diplomatic, and psychological pressure. Russian missiles and drones, threats, propaganda, pressure from foreign governments, including the Trump administration, and an endless stream of accusations, distortions, and outright lies. And then today, while looking through his X account, something suddenly clicked. The man just keeps showing up. Every damn day. For more than four and a half years, under circumstances most political leaders will never experience, he has maintained an extraordinary level of consistency in publicly communicating what is happening. Meetings with military commanders, conversations with world leaders, diplomatic negotiations, decisions about Ukraine’s defense, domestic political issues, international agreements, humanitarian matters, and even the smallest developments that might otherwise go unnoticed. He explains what happened, what was discussed, what Ukraine needs, what decisions were made, and often why. Day after day. Week after week. Year after year. And he’s doing all of this while Russia is literally trying to destroy his country. Now, does that mean Zelenskyy is perfect? Of course not. Does it mean corruption doesn’t exist in Ukraine or that everyone around him is innocent? Absolutely not. Ukraine has corruption problems, and Zelenskyy deserves scrutiny just like any other political leader. But there’s a difference between legitimate criticism based on evidence and the Russian propaganda machine turning every scandal, allegation, quarter-truths, or incident involving someone in his government into supposed proof that Zelenskyy himself is corrupt. And what fascinates me is how easily people overlook the enormous public record he has created while facing that constant pressure. I’m not suggesting that posting updates on social media automatically makes a government transparent. It doesn’t. But this level of sustained public communication, especially during a war of this magnitude, is something I find remarkable. Think about it for a moment. The man is simultaneously dealing with a devastating invasion, international diplomacy, domestic politics, military strategy, economic survival, and the psychological burden of knowing that every single day, more of his people may die. And somehow, he continues communicating. Consistently. Relentlessly. Publicly. I don’t know how many political leaders could maintain that level of discipline under comparable circumstances. And I don’t pretend to know everything happening behind closed doors. But I know what I’ve been watching for the last four and a half years. And today I realized that perhaps one of Zelenskyy’s most remarkable qualities isn’t something dramatic he said or did. It’s something he keeps doing. Showing up. I still don’t have heroes. I don’t intend to start worshipping politicians, including Volodymyr Zelenskyy. But my spectrum of admiration has a very high end. And Zelenskyy getting remarkably close to it.

Russia called it a “health retreat.” Ukrainian prosecutors are investigating it as a war crime. Three students were taken from Kherson to occupied Crimea without their parents’ consent. When the “holiday” ended, they weren’t sent home. Instead, they were moved to another camp and enrolled in a college. All three are now back in Ukraine. This became possible thanks to the support of partners within the President of Ukraine's Bring Kids Back UA initiative. Russia’s occupation “governor” Vladimir Saldo and two collaborators are now suspects in the case. #BringKidsBack 🔗 read more here: gp.gov.ua/ua/posts/tak-zvano…
