Norman Finkelstein complains about how he claims recent immigrants are all on food stamps and go to stores to buy "bags of salmon," and his best friend who is a doctor told him how immigrants go to the hospital for a cough or headache because "it's all free."
Norman Finkelstein: "I walk into a supermarket, and I have to say, it gets a little bit under my skin, I'm the only one paying with money. Everybody's on food stamps. It does get under my skin. Because I see them buy these bags of salmon, $100... and they're paying everything with food stamps, it gets under my skin. And they're all very recently here, as last week."
They even built public restrooms with clever L-shaped layouts for complete privacy. This level of civic engineering wasn't seen again on Earth until the peak of the Roman Empire 2,000 years later.

I just read this piece 4 times. There isn’t a shred of evidence showing Iran did it. I know Iran’s transnational repression very well. Shooting into empty synagogues in the middle of the night, ain’t it. Headline belies the article. I can’t believe this would pass muster.
