Crazy seeing used cars over 11 years old with 250k+ miles going for $15k–$20k. Ridiculous.

Used car prices were basically flat between 1995 - 2020
Replying to @cowabungatime
Used cars were cheap before COVID, it just caused a weird one time bump that for some reason never went down.

Suggesting an affordable alternative to Denver has triggered a lot of people into rage I could have said Sacramento or SLC but that was too obvious San Bernardino is much smaller than Denver, so not a good comparison which is why I chose Fresno

People will cry and beg for "walkable cities" and then look at you like you're insane when you suggest a 7 minute walk somewhere.

Fresno is the same distance to ski areas that Denver is Fresno gets more sunshine and isn’t cold in the winter. They are both hot in summer Fresno housing is 40% cheaper Fresno is only two hours from the coast Yes, I realize that Fresno sucks but that’s besides the point 😂

Today’s rant is about the biggest scam in parenting: Travel sports - massive waste of money - overfocuses kids on sports over academics. Make them stupid - almost never helps a college application or scholarship - “coaches” lie about kids’ potential to get parents to spend even more - needs to be regulated or banned Any victims out there?

Is this the first person ever arrested for smuggling drugs out of Miami instead of into Miami?
SURGEON ARRESTED: A doctor from Arizona is accused of drug trafficking and possession in South Florida after authorities said he tried to bring LSD, MDMA and hallucinogenic mushrooms aboard a cruise ship leaving from PortMiami to the Bahamas on Tuesday. local10.com/news/local/2026/…

I’m not giving any notice when I retire. If I ever need a reference my former bosses/coworkers will always vouch for me 😂🤣
We've now had 2 employees in 2 months quit without giving 2 weeks notice. And look, nobody can force you to stay. But I genuinely think how you leave people matters. Commitments matter. Reputation matters. You don't get to treat every relationship as disposable just because you technically can.
