Fascinating. I didn’t know this detail and it’s the little details, one on top of another, that add up to a powerful case for archaeology vindicating the biblical narrative.

The same method works in Israel. The Bible gives directions: people go up, go down, cross a ford, look across a valley. At Michmash, Samuel even names the two crags Jonathan climbed between, Bozez and Seneh. They're still there, on either side of the canyon of Wadi Suweinit.

Enjoyed a cup of coffee this morning with Amishav Melet. He’s the guy who the residents of Tur Massiya tried to portray as a terrorist when all he was doing was driving a security patrol and bothering no one. Amishav is a vegan, a pacifist and a farmer. He wants nothing more than to work the land promised to the Jewish people by God. He says he harbors no hatred for the Palestinians, even though a Palestinian murdered his brother just six weeks ago. The Jew-haters will need to get another poster child for their “settler violence” campaign. This one won’t work (neither will any other).

Facts: There is a lot of civilian crime and violence in Judea and Samaria. By far, the largest amount is committed by Arabs against Arabs. The next largest category is violence committed by Arabs against Jews. A much smaller amount is committed by Jews against Arabs. A negligible amount is committed by Jews against Jews. The first two categories are not reported in the news. The third is over reported and exaggerated.

The Ranger driver states it was a routine security check after reports of vehicles gathering in an area with prior attacks on Jewish shepherds, with IDF notified; no confrontation occurred. Huckabee filmed it amid Palestinian-American complaints of settler violence and called the acts criminal terror by a tiny minority. Turmus Ayya has documented terrorism links: former mayor Lafi Shalabi aided the murderer of Yehuda Guetta and was elected while jailed; Omar Qattin (killed 2023) was claimed by Hamas. Attacks occur from both sides in the area. Full context shows mutual grievances, not a one-sided story.

Amb. Huckabee was used in a Pallywood scene. Its all becoming clear. He was lied to and manipulated.
Dear Mike Huckabee, Now that Shabbat has ended, I saw your post and the alerts across the news channels about your visit today to Turmus Ayya — and about those “dangerous and threatening settlers” whom you apparently saw driving a security Ranger. *Well, that was me. I was the driver of the Ranger you filmed.* And I want you to hear directly from me what actually happened today. This morning, our shepherd, who was out with the flock, reported that dozens of vehicles had gathered at the edge of the village — precisely in an area from which, over the past several months, there have been repeated attacks and arson incidents against us. I got into our security Ranger to check what was happening, and at the same time we notified the IDF as per protocol. When we arrived and saw respectable people and media crews, we said hello and continued on our way. Shortly afterward, the army informed us that this was a proper, coordinated visit. That is the entire story. And yet, within minutes, we were portrayed in the media as “dangerous settlers.” Amabssador Huckabee, I will respectfully relate some facts to you that they surely didn’t share with you today. For example: 1. Until recently, the head of the Turmus Ayya municipality was *Lafi Shalabi*, who was a partner in assisting in the murder of the youth Yehuda Guetta, of blessed memory. While he was in prison, the village chose him to head the municipality — as a sign of honor for his actions. 2. A member of the Turmus Ayya municipal council, *Abu Samra*, with whom you were photographed today in warm handshakes, is a released terrorist, who is photographed with weapons and published incitement to murder and attacks; in his view, Jews as well as Americans are the enemy. He also led the opposition in the village to the hanging of American flags on the houses, and following the struggle, the flags were removed from the Turmus Ayya municipal building. Only in recent years, Abu Samra was personally involved in several cases of attacks and looting of Jews and their property in the Shiloh area settlements. 3. Throughout the village there are dozens of monuments glorifying terrorists and terrorism, alongside a map of the State of Israel painted in the colors of Palestine, which testifies to their true intentions. 4. *Abla al-Kuk*, the manager of the girls’ high school who was photographed with you today, has for years been involved in educating generations of students with messages of incitement, encouragement and glorification of terrorism. She also personally participated in and led violent riots against settlers and security forces. 5. In the past year alone, hundreds of incidents of attacks have occurred, including stone throwing, arson, lynchings and shooting, by Arabs from the village against shepherds, farmers, innocent Jewish travelers who had just returned home, as well as against army forces. 6. You also met with the wife of the “martyr” *Omar al-Katin*, who was killed after attempting to harm police officers, and with additional representatives of families of those who attempted to harm soldiers and innocent civilians. 7. We also saw how the ambulance drivers in Turmus Ayya showed you videos that were edited and cut in a biased manner. In the incident in question, the ambulance deliberately blocked an army jeep while hundreds of Arabs pelted it with stones. When the soldiers had no choice and were forced to get out of the area in order to protect their lives, they lightly struck the edge of the ambulance in order to extricate themselves. They also did not tell you that the entire incident was an attempt to run toward the Israeli communities. You also saw videos presented to you today by ambulance drivers from the village. I ask you to watch the full footage, rather than edited clips. When you cut out the beginning of an incident, you can make almost any story look completely different. I am a bereaved brother. >>>>

US AMB. MIKE HUCKABEE JUST WALKED INTO A PALLYWOOD PRODUCTION Watching U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee’s visit to Turmus Ayya, the entire thing feels less like a fact-finding mission and more like a carefully produced scene. American flags everywhere. Cameras waiting. A predetermined narrative. Then two Israelis appear nearby on an ATV, and Palestinian Authority media immediately packages it as an Israeli “attack.” Seriously? There are real crimes. There are real extremists. Deal with them. But turning the mere presence of two Jews on an ATV into another scene in the “settler terrorism” narrative is exactly why so many Israelis no longer trust these productions. And then there’s Huckabee himself. Anyone who watches him regularly knows the man: energetic, animated, completely comfortable in his own skin. Here? He looks like someone who realizes he has somehow become a character in somebody else’s movie. I seriously doubt Mike Huckabee scripted this. But I would very much like to know who did. Because make no mistake: the Palestinian Authority suddenly wrapping itself in American flags does not make it pro-American. It makes for a very useful backdrop when the U.S. Ambassador comes to town.

This is the Amman Citadel Inscription. Written 2800 years ago in Ammonite, a Canaanite dialect close enough to Hebrew for the text to be understandable to the average Israeli. The first infinitive absolute form (מֹת יְמֻתֻן) is found in the Hebrew Bible (Numbers 16:29).

Private Meeting Between Rabbi Yoshiyahu Yosef Pinto Shlit”a and Ye, Formerly Known as Kanye West During a private conversation on Tuesday with Rabbi Yoshiyahu Yosef Pinto Shlit”a, leader of the Shuva Israel institutions, Ye expressed profound remorse for his past statements concerning and about the Jewish people. Rabbi Pinto welcomed Ye warmly, encouraged him with words of Torah and light, and praised his will to move closer to truth. Rabbi Pinto said: “A person is not defined by his mistakes, but by the way he chooses to correct them. This is the true strength of man: The ability to return, to learn, and to build bridges of love and peace.” Ye came with humility to seek forgiveness and a new chapter of repentance and love among human beings. The meeting concluded with shared hope for a future of respect and unity among nations and faiths, grounded in a commitment to truth and peace. Ye and Rabbi Pinto hope to serve as an example to the world of the power of faith and reconciliation.

Can someone explain to me why most pro-Israel accounts are so excited about Al Qeida coming to power in Syria? No doubt Assad is a monster, but at least he was a corrupt monster which meant that Israel had leverage over him. Of our 4 borders, two of which are with countries that we have peace treaties with, our border with Syria has been the quietest. Furthermore, while Putin makes a show of chastising Israel to keep his Iranian partners happy, he has generally given us complete free reign to make strikes in Syria when necessary for our own defence. The new government will be under the patronage of Erdogan who while being an ally of Hamas and al Qeida, is also a MEMBER OF NATO, giving him complete immunity to attack It seems to me that in the coming days when the public ISIS style beheadings begin, and the new government pledges their support to Hamas, some who are currently celebrating will wake up with a hangover.

There’s something about Israel that makes people uncomfortable, and it’s not what they say it is. They’ll point to politics, settlements, borders, and wars. But scratch beneath the outrage, and you’ll find something deeper. A discomfort not with what Israel does, but with what Israel is. A nation this small should not be this strong. Period. Israel has no oil. No special natural resources. A population barely the size of a mid-sized American city. They are surrounded by enemies. Hated in the United Nations. Targeted by terror. Condemned by celebrities. Boycotted, slandered, and attacked. And still, they thrive like there’s no tomorrow. In military. In medicine. In security. In technology. In agriculture. In intelligence. In morality. In sheer, unbreakable will. They turn desert into farmland. They make water from air. They intercept rockets in mid-air. They rescue hostages under the nose of the world’s worst regimes. They survive wars that were supposed to wipe them out, and win. The world watches this and can’t make sense of it. So they do what people do when they witness strength they can’t understand. They assume it must be cheating. It must be American aid. It must be foreign lobbying. It must be oppression. It must be theft. It must be some dark trick that gave the Jews this kind of power. It must be blackmail. Because heaven forbid it’s something else. Heaven forbid it’s real. Heaven forbid it’s earned. Or worse, destined. The Jewish people were supposed to disappear a long, long time ago. That’s how the story of exiled, enslaved, hated minorities is supposed to end. But the Jews didn’t disappear. They actually came home, rebuilt their land, revived their language, and brought their dead back to life — in memory, in identity, and in strength. That’s not normal. It’s not political. It’s biblical. There’s no cheat code that explains how a group of people return to their homeland after 2,000 years. There is no rational path from gas chambers to global influence. And there is no historical precedent for surviving the Babylonians, the Romans, the Crusaders, the Inquisition, the pogroms, and the Holocaust, and still showing up to work on Monday in Tel Aviv. Israel doesn’t make sense. Unless you believe in something beyond the math. This is what drives the world crazy. Because if Israel is real, if this improbable, ancient, hated nation is somehow still chosen, protected, and thriving, then maybe God isn’t a myth after all. Maybe He’s still in the story. Maybe history isn’t random. Maybe evil doesn’t get the last word. Maybe the Jews are not just a people… but a testimony. That’s what they can’t stand. Because once you admit that Israel’s survival isn’t just impressive, but divine, everything changes. Your moral compass has to reset. Your assumptions about history, power, and justice collapse. You realize you’re not watching the end of an empire. You’re witnessing the beginning of something eternal. So they deny it. They smear it. And rage against it. Because it’s easier to call a miracle “cheating” than to face the possibility that God keeps His promises. And He’s keeping them still.

A lot of Jews and Israelis are concerned that Trump seems to be moving away from Israel. The man uses "Palestinian" as a pejorative. I think it's clear where his sentiments lie. Many Jews prefer an American president who says nice things about Israel while working against our interests. Trump is quietly creating conditions to strategically bolster Israel's position and give us independence to act. I hope our leaders will rise to the occasion. – at Israel
