There's a difference between advocating for religious freedom and selectively embracing religion when it serves a political agenda. Perhaps it's time we had an honest conversation about what separation of church and state was really intended to protect—and what some seem to want it to accomplish today.

Okay, I’m done. Caitlin Clark would have to denounce racism before every game, at halftime, and after every game, and apparently that still wouldn’t be enough for Ms. Monica McNutt. Good grief, leave the woman alone. I could understand the criticism if Caitlin had ever claimed to represent a particular side or group, but she hasn’t. People are speaking for themselves, not for her. What exactly do you expect her to do? Every time someone mentions her name, should she stop whatever she’s doing to announce, “Nope, that’s not me”? At some point, enough is enough.
I'm always baffled by people like this. They’re more than happy to tell you their own stories, share their opinions, and talk about their lives, yet seem to have little curiosity about yours.
