Many thanks to the young people and staff @CottageFalkirk for working with us over the past couple of months.
We laughed, we cried, we crafted…and talked all things education.
We heard how well supported, listened to and understood the young people feel there.
We’ll miss our Friday sessions with you.
ALT A group of adults and teenagers sit round a table. They are all wearing different coloured cowboy hats. There are lots of crafting resources in the middle of the table such as paper, pens and glue. They all look quite happy focusing on their activity.
ALT A close up of light blue paper with recurring hand-drawn bright images of bumble bees and flowers.
ALT Two hand-decorated lampshades. One is a grey-green lace. One is cream with bright red large flowers.

The Interrupted Learners Service pupils have been very busy crafting again! These cards are going to our local care homes as Easter gifts! Let us know of anyone who would like one! @ASNFalkirk @YvonneFultonASN @JennyMc_ASN

Another amazing collaboration with @ElaineKerridge1 & the team from @CYPCS! Making lampshades whilst chatting about the experiences of young people who experience alternative education. Another exciting part of our joint project. @NicolaKillean @ASNFalkirk @JennyMc_ASN

I had the absolute privilege of speaking to @NicolaKillean, children’s commissioner, today about the work we do @CottageFalkirk for our interrupted learners service. Thank you to our young people for sharing their stories. I am so immensely proud! @CSCommsFalkirk @ASNFalkirk
