We are devastated to hear the tragic news from Cleveland Police. PC Matthew Blades & PC Tom Clough lost their lives whilst on duty during the early hours of this morning. Our thoughts & deepest condolences are with their families, friends & colleagues at this difficult time.

A man tried three times to get into my room in @Travel_Lodge in London at 11.30 at night. Luckily I had the chain lock on but he kept coming back. I had to call home (in the north east) for some help as there was no phone in the room. I was terrified!
In the morning I was told by someone on reception the cleaner was trying to get in (and I could have a free breakfast- which incidentally was already paid for - to compensate!) I fear this is not just a problem of external predators in my view! @Travel_Lodge 🤔
