September: +$1.11K
October: +$2.23K so far 🔥
Fewer unnecessary trades, better exits, and a trader who's actually reviewing his data. 👀
14th September to Now
Trading much better than in the past.
- Sticking to 2 trades a day
- sitting through DD
- holding to full TP
Overall being more disciplined. Still making some errors I need to iron out.
@TradeZella helping so much with tracking data and backtesting.
+$500 open.
It pulls back to +$150.
You’re still winning. You’ve never once been losing on this trade.
So why does it feel like you lost $350?
Because the secodn you saw +$500, you counted it as yours.
Now you're not managing a trade, you’re arguing with a number that was never yours.
That’s why open P&L wrecks more good trades than bad entries do.
+$74K on the TradeZella calendar.
$26K away from his goal.
October's final week is about to be interesting 👀
Protecting the month >>> chasing the next big day
+$54,100 in October so far.
The past two weeks have been much more difficult with the market selling off and a lot more intraday reversals.
That has meant being more patient, trading smaller when needed, and playing more defense instead of forcing setups.
Not every day needs to be a huge day. The goal is to stay disciplined, protect capital, and take advantage when the clean opportunities show up.
With FOMC next week, I’ll continue to stay selective and let the market come to me.
+$10.6K this October.
+$6.06K this week alone.
bro's TradeZella calendar is COOKING 🔥
You’ve been trading for 3+ years and you have less in your account than when you started.
Forex, then options, then futures. A few prop firm evals. A crypto run you don’t talk about.
Some months were good. Good enough to believe it was finally clicking. Then the same mistakes came back and took the account with them.
The difference now is you’re 30, not 23. There’s rent or a mortgage. Maybe a kid. Someone who’s watched you “almost make it” a few times.
You don’t get unlimited restarts anymore, so the next attempt has to be built differently.
5 steps:
1. Get your income from somewhere else.
A job, freelance work, anything that covers the bills. When a trade has to pay for groceries, you’ll take setups you’d never take otherwise. Kill that pressure first.
2. Shrink your plan to one page.
Pick the market you understand best and the one setup you’ve actually made money on. Write both down with your risk per trade. Nothing else goes on your charts for 12 months.
3. Cut your screen time in half.
Most of the damage happens after your setup has already played out. Mark your levels, wait for the trigger, take it or skip it, close the platform.
4. Let someone see your trades.
A mentor, a trading partner, a small group. You need someone who’ll ask why you took a third trade after hitting your daily loss.
5. Decide everything before the open.
Entry, stop, target, size. Anything you decide while the candle is moving is improvised, and that’s where the last 3 years went.
Most traders who turn it around in year 4 are running a setup they could have found in year 1. They just finally stuck with it.
Every successful trader agrees on one thing: the strategy is the easy part.
60 shifts for the part nobody teaches you:
46. Sleep is part of your strategy.
47. Bad night's sleep, smaller size.
48. Set a time you stop trading. Keep it.
49. Walk away after a great day, too.
50. Make consistency the goal. Profit follows it.
51. One good month proves nothing. Six might.
52. One bad month proves nothing either.
53. Plan the loss before you plan the profit.
54. Your account size isn't your skill level.
55. Being early is the same as being wrong.
56. Wait for your price. There's always tomorrow.
57. Patience is a position.
58. Never trade money you need next month.
59. Measure progress in months, not trades.
60. Keep score of your discipline. P&L catches up.
You can trade every day for a year and make the same mistakes on day 365 that you made on day 1.
In this series, we show you the process that stops that, built step by step inside TradeZella.
