I lost $5,000 of my personal savings trading.
Here's what it thought me about risk
.
.
At that time, I was chasing quick profits, overleveraging, trading every crypto pair, and jumping into setups without a clear plan or structure.
It was all emotion. And emotion plus leverage?
Is letting a trade that's already 4R in profit run all the way back to breakeven, or even hit SL, discipline or greed?
At what point does patience become poor trade management?
I am genuinely curious about how other traders approach this.@probernard_02

The hardest part of trading is not the entry.
It is doing nothing when there is nothing to do.

I remember saying XAUUSD this month will be bullish enough to cover last month bearish candle stick. It has covered 80% of it in just one week. Although it’s now in a sell zone. if it breaks this level then the 20% will be achieved with no stress.

Again… a change of character is a liquidity trap.
It is a bogus concept that requires a further BOS to validate it.

FOREX TRADING: THE MARKET DOESN’T REWARD IMPATIENCE! 📊
One mistake many traders make is believing that every market movement presents a trading opportunity.
The truth is, not every movement deserves your money.

Trading is all about these SIX things
1. Study
2. Conviction
3. Decision
4. Trust
5. Experience
6. Mastery
…you will study till you are convinced that why you are studying works based on the data your study gave to you
Your conviction must be able to decide on what it stays with to the very end no matter the ups and down ..your conviction must make decisions of the kind of trade you will take
And you learn to trust your decision..don’t make any other decision after executing the trade except there is a technical reason…
Decision like breakeven, close the trade or add more positions
Series of trust you have placed on your decisions and executions is what gives you the right experience and it is from your experience that your re evaluate if you should continue on that path of refining it or change it entirely
This experience is what lead to mastery
In reality most profitable traders are masters of the game because they are executing their experience
You can be in this game for years and the only experience you have is the experience of unprofitability
Daily ask yourself this question
Am i really in the process?

And one day you’ll realize it’s always been about you, the choices you make, the life you choose to live. It’s not about your family, friends or social media. In the end , it’s all on you.

Scared money really doesn’t make money. The analysis is the easy part, sizing the trade and executing it is what separates those who talk charts from the ones who get paid. I'm still working on that part myself 🤞🏽
I will tell you this for free, Those fancy charts you post everyday will not doing you any good if you don't execute.
Some of you can predict price movements accurately and price goes your way most of the times, But you are scared to execute because you don't want to lose money.
You know alot about trading, all the strategies and all the trading advices , A lot of before and after charts on your page but if you check your 6 months to 1 year Trading history, It's Rubbish❌
Scared money, makes no money, take the risk, accept the risk, Trading is not just about the analysis, It's the Execution that makes you a Trader.
Don't be Knowledgeable and still be broke 🥂

Position sizing is the factor beginners most often underestimate, because even strong edge and discipline collapse when a single trade risks too much capital relative to account size.
Traders, let's talk about risk management.
I'd love to hear your thoughts. Someone learning to trade might benefit from your answer. 👇
What's one thing you think beginners underestimate the most?
Position sizing.
Stop-loss placement.
Risk-to-reward ratio.
Consecutive losing trades.
Emotional decisions after a loss.
