Rainy Season is in full force here in Sierra Leone. Whilst the accompanying temperature drop is delightful the rain causes many challenges (especially for those with little to no income).
In the slum areas flooding is often catastrophic leading to loss of property and life.
In Nov we were invited to give a presentation as part of a grant award process to a team visiting from overseas.
We are delighted, thrilled and blessed to report that we have received a grant towards the cost of a new vehicle, education and the growth of Transform Salone
Harvest may be over in the UK but in Sierra Leone rice harvest is in full swing.
Rice is such a staple there is a saying 'if you haven't eaten rice today then you haven't eaten!'
This beautiful field of rice is being harvested, bagged & transported before feeding many families. – at Sierra Leone
Merry Christmas from everyone at Transform Salone.
May you have the gift of faith, the blessing of hope and the joy of love.

We have been truly blessed by our team from Re:establish. It's a pleasure seeing each person grow and embrace Sierra Leone so thoroughly. We my have shed a tear or two when they left and would welcome each and every one of them back with open arms
