For the first time in 9 years, MoGo Detroit has hit pause. They started as a short trip transit option & evolved with rider preference for pleasure rides. They then expanded further across the city, mostly along the Woodward corridor, & finally to Belle Isle. Hurry back!
MoGo is closed for the season. Bike-share services will be temporarily paused, until further notice. All bikes and stations will be closed. Thanks to all our supporters. Visit MoGoDetroit.org for updates.

The Detroit Transportation Corporation proudly celebrates Troy Graham, our longest-serving employee, as he marks an incredible 40 years with the organization. Troy began his DTC career as a Utility Technician on October 22, 1986-nine months before the Detroit People Mover began carrying passengers through downtown Detroit. Over the decades, he advanced to Electronic Technician and then System Control Operator, the role he has held for 35 years. In this vital position, Troy helps keep the system moving safely and reliably by monitoring train movements, responding to system issues and coordinating during emergencies. His connection to the People Mover extends far beyond his career. As Troy shared, "Being here changed my life. I met my wife on the People Mover, and we have amazing children and grandchildren. I have coworkers that are more than friends." Please join us in congratulating Troy and thanking him for four decades of dedication, knowledge and service to DTC, the Detroit People Mover and the city we are proud to serve. His commitment is an enduring part of what keeps Detroit moving. ❤️

"Just a city boy Born and raised in West Detroit He took the midnight train going anywhere." False. The only available options at midnight in so called "West Detroit" are the Grand River or 7 Mile bus.

Next time you stop at Fort/Cass, give the station walls an extra minute before heading out. 👀 Farley Tobin’s murals are made with more than 30,000 tiles, and some of the glaze includes ash from the 1980 Mount St. Helens eruption. Once you step outside, John K. King Used and Rare Books and Fort Street Presbyterian Church are both nearby. Explore Fort/Cass Station at thepeoplemover.com/fort-cass

Detroit, your bus stops are getting an upgrade. 🚌 Mayor Mary Sheffield and DDOT are investing in a better transit experience with 200+ new benches and 200+ new shelters being installed or upgraded across the city through 2027. Better stops. Better experience. Better DDOT.

Don’t forget about the free SMART shuttle buses. Great way to see more of the cruise while resting in the A/C. In previous years I would either be driving in it or be limited to a few miles in each direction. Now I see it all from Ferndale to Pontiac! smartbus.org/Schedules/Serv…

It's official - the Wayne County Transit Millage has passed! An overwhelming majority of voters, 67% in total, approved the millage. For the first time in over 30 years, each community in the tri-county area will be connected. Thank you for making better transit possible.
