Today is #SunDevilGivingDay and I donated to @WPCareySchool, @asueducation, and @ASUCollegeofGF to support student emergency funds, because sometimes you just need help.
“Your dissertation defense has been scheduled successfully.” A great Monday morning email to receive.
3:30am alarms are less than ideal. But it’s a little bit sweeter when it’s due to an early morning flight to Hawaii.
7,657 days since the @Mariners last playoff win. That streak ended today.
Love rereading Douglas Adams’ THE HITCHHIKER’S GUIDE TO THE GALAXY. “He attacked everything in life with a mixture of extraordinary genius and naive incompetence and it was often difficult to tell which was which.”
Great to see the Media and Immersive eXperience Center today, part of the @ASU at Mesa City Center complex.
Great to hear from Peter Schlosser today. Not only a brilliant scientist but a great story teller. A unique and important blend. @ASUGlobalFuture
After successfully defending my dissertation proposal this morning, I am officially a doctoral candidate! @asueducation
I have been trying to read more articles outside of higher education administration and came across this insightful read about Indigenous Knowledge by @BryanBrayboy. Would highly recommend, regardless of your discipline.

I never even conceived of this possibility when this project started. So much hard work and so many intelligent, talented people contributing. More details to come on release day, but so overwhelmed and excited right now. #archaeology #archaeologybooks #macaws #birds
Yesterday was my first full committee meeting. Excited to be guided and challenged by this great group of scholars during this chapter of my educational journey.
My streak of thousands of trail miles ran over the last decade without tripping and falling came stumbling and crashing to an end today.
