If you discover some Philistine undertaking to remove books from libraries or stores or what have you--you may use this drawing if you wish, but please use my name as the artist.
The second Gary and Gabe book will come out on Cyber Monday. It’s a real hoot (and the sequel to “Twelve Angry Poodles).

Alex and I received this drawing from @shoorayner a few weeks ago--you can watch him drawing it on YouTube with the provided link. youtube.com/watch?v=y-YlkaGS… Thank you, Shoo! Alex gives it a big thumbs up.

Here's the second villain going up on my Dick Tracy Wall of Shame--the scandalous Shoulders! He's my favorite villain, and the actor who played him in the 1990 film--Mr. Stig Eldred--has the greatest face in American film. Who to draw next?

I've been MIA due to my chronic illness. This whole situation sucks...but I've learned to live with it. Take care of yourselves out there--there are people who love and care about you. (Obligatory hospital selfie.)

Playing the villainous Thenardier in 2013’s “Les Miserables” was one of the biggest highlights in the three decades I worked in live theatre. (RIP Amy—we rocked in that #Production!)

A portion of a song I wrote for 2006’s “Night of the Living Dead: The Rock Opera.” Scary how the #lyric still holds up today—if not more so!

I had two best men at my wedding 17 years ago. One has since come out as a trans woman...meaning I had the BEST freakin’ wedding EVER! 🌈

As I’ve often said, I was a special effects #makeupartist in live theatre for 3 decades. Now I write/illustrate children’s books. I converted this old makeup cabinet into an art supply drawer. Very handy!

When you and a friend are asked to play Aunts Spiker and Sponge in a theatrical version of "James and the Giant Peach"--you say YES! (I'm the pointing one.) This was the only time in my adult life I was beardless...and in pearls.

Another Dick Tracy #illustration--the pernicious Pruneface! This movie led me to become a special effects #makeupartist in live theatre for 27 years. Polychromos pencil and #watercolor on 6.5x8.5 cotton paper. Looking for approval from @shoorayner. (And everyone else. 😁) #art
The 1990 film, "Dick Tracy," instilled a love of #makeup effects in me, leading to a 27-year career doing such effects in live #theatre. These are my three fave DT villains. Just a quick graphite sketch.

I was Bustopher Jones in "Cats" in 2016. This was a quick graphite sketch of me in character.
