Today I’m reflecting on a journey I could never have imagined: from #Bosnia to #Tennessee, from surviving war to becoming a full professor @UTKnoxville. And tonight, my two countries meet in a #WorldCup2026 qualifier - Bosnia vs. USA. What a bittersweet, beautiful moment. 🇧🇦🇺🇸 – at Knoxville, TN

@SarahBoggess2 did a great job representing #HadziabdicLab at the @IUFROdivision7 conference in Athens, 🇬🇷.
She presented Oak Wilt work across numerous projects and was done by many students. It takes a village to solve some of these issues.

@Fabiteam1 kicked off our second day of the @IUFROdivision7 conference in Athens, Greece 🇬🇷.
Her fascinating talk focused on Ceratocystis species in #Africa affecting both #forest & #agriculture species, including kiwi and yams.
@IUFRO – at Dafni, Greece
As always, @ClinicPlant director, Romina Gazis, gave an excellent talk focused on #laurelwilt in #avocado and the efforts they are making to control this pretty aggressive disease that affects so many plant species in the Lauraceae family, including avocado.

Great start to the @IUFROdivision7 conference in Athens, Greece, focusing on #forest #pathology. We started our meeting with a field trip & learning about Canker Stain Disease caused by Ceratocystis platani.
The best part is catching up with old and new friends.
@IUFRO – at Psychiko, Greece
#1DaytoGo for the international congress “Will it wilt? From bark to xylem – an invasion away”, organized by IUFRO.
We look forward to welcoming all participants tomorrow, at the Greek Institute of Mediterranean Forest Ecosystems, in Athens Greece!
