Old and Long association of BJP with ACYPL Modi's 1993 US visit ▪️Dates: July 10–23, 1993 ▪️Organisation: American Council of Young Political Leaders (ACYPL). ▪️Support: US State Department. ▪️Participant: Narendra Modi, then a BJP organiser with an RSS background. ▪️Activities: Meetings with American political leaders, officials, policymakers & business representatives. ▪️Modi travels US under American Council of Young Political Leaders (ACYPL) program. BJP leader G. Kishan Reddy himself confirmed the visit ◾2002 :- Ford Foundation grant during Modi's chief ministership. The Gujarat Ecological Education and Research Foundation (GEER) received $122,000 from the Ford Foundation. Narendra Modi, then Gujarat Chief Minister, was its de facto head. ◾June 8–11, 2003 :- ACYPL visited India. In 2003 ACYPL delegation was hosted by BJP leaders in Goa. ◾2017 - BJP-RSS & FOREIGN CORPORATE CONNECTIONS. @thewire_in revealed that India Foundation, associated with former RSS spokesperson Ram Madhav & Shaurya Doval, had four Union ministers on its board, while Boeing (US), Magal (Israel) and DBS (Singapore) appeared as event sponsors. The Foundation denied receiving foreign corporate funding. Foreign sponsors, ministers on the board, and undisclosed sponsorship amounts. ▪️Who received the money? Where are the disclosures? Why should the BJP-RSS ecosystem escape the scrutiny it demands of others? ◾2020–2024 :- A Bellingcat investigation identifies $117.8 million in contributions and grants received by two US charities Ekal USA and Sewa International USA, with alleged links to the wider RSS ecosystem. At least $24.4 million came through donor-advised funds, which can conceal the original donors' identities. ◾Ekal USA originated as a programme of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad of America(VHPA) before becoming an independent organisation A VHPA historical account describes its founder Mahesh Mehta's RSS training and the advice he received from an RSS leader about establishing VHP activities in America. VHPA and VHP India now maintain that they are legally separate organisations, although they acknowledge shared ideological inspiration ◾2025 :- US lobbying disclosures involving payments of $330,000 connected to an arrangement described as being on behalf of the RSS. Obviously 'unregistered' RSS denied the reported arrangement ◾2026 - RSS 's American Registration Contradiction RSS remains unregistered in India, yet on August 27, an organisation called RSS Friends registered with US Department of Justice naming the RSS as its foreign principal & declaring an oral agreement with it. ▪️Why does RSS remain unregistered in India while an organisation representing it registers with American authorities? Who finances its overseas operations, and where are the disclosures? ◾ Questions - 1- Who nominated an RSS-trained Narendra Modi for the American political exchange? 2- Who paid for his participation? 3- What was the nature of ACYPL's engagement with the BJP,RSS or VHP 4- What are ultimate sources& beneficiaries of overseas donations received by organisations reportedly associated with the Sangh ecosystem? 5- What is the explanation for the US lobbying disclosures reportedly involving the RSS? 6- Who finances the wider Sangh ecosystem? 7-What money reaches India, through which organisations, and for what purposes? 8-Why is foreign engagement acceptable when it involves BJP-RSS leaders, but portrayed as foreign interference when it involves their political opponents?
