I can still remember the day I watched the pilot of Star Trek: TNG because it was also the same day I bought a copy of Pitfall for the Atari 2600 on clearance at a KB Toys and Hobby.
We started watching Below, and I feel like I should have just re-watched Jaws.
Do many Netflix series feel like AI just merged five different movies.
The funny thing is, it might have made a good movie about Newfoundland fishermen without the monstrous element.
I did not care for the number of people recording me while I gave out candy.
No good can come of this culture.
What would happen if there were a zombie outbreak, but instead of being aggressive cannibals, they were in this perpetually euphoric state?
Halloween with little kids feels like a logic puzzle. You need to figure out how to supervise candy collection as well as distribution with limited resources.
Today, I spent $30 on Transformers merchandise I'm not even sure I wanted, but I bought it because it was all more than 50% off...

Anyone born before 1990 should know that one of the favorite pastimes of fans of the Star Wars OT was to find flaws in the OT.

Nitpicking the OT is what primed us to tear apart the other two trilogies.
But the OT had something extra going on.
Star Wars: I made a claim today that the OT demonstrates more wit and cleverness than the PT.

Star Wars: I saw someone post that OT fans are blinded by nostalgia, and so can't appreciate the prequels (which is a bit silly). But why wouldn't that apply to PT fans?
What if the alleged new appreciation for the PT is more about the nostalgia for the context around the PT?
What I learned from this show about scammers, is there might be a market to invite lonely people to hire me to be their friend on a subscription basis at a fee that undercuts the cost of falling in love with a scam artist.
