Your coach... DIDN’T make you sleep in. DIDN’T make you skip reps. DIDN’T make you go half speed. DIDN’T make you have a bad attitude. DIDN’T set your priorities, But it’s IRONIC how many kids get mad at their coach when they don’t perform and then they don’t play!

BASEBALL PARENTS: āš¾ļøšŸ‘‡ According to NCAA estimates: • 472,598 high school baseball players. • Just 8.8% advance to NCAA baseball. • Only 2.7% reach Division I. Now consider this... D1 programs operating under the new roster rules generally have 34 roster spots. Those spots aren't just for incoming freshmen. They're shared with returning players, transfers, and other recruits. Here's what I wish more parents understood... Your son can be GOOD ENOUGH to play at a school and STILL never receive an offer. Why? Because recruiting isn't simply about talent. It's about POSITIONAL NEEDS, ROSTER AVAILABILITY, PROJECTABILITY, ACADEMICS, FINANCES, and TIMING. A coach knowing your son doesn't mean he's recruiting him. And a coach not offering your son doesn't automatically mean he isn't good enough. My advice? Study rosters. Understand the numbers. Ask better questions. Find the right fit, and go where you're wanted ā€¼ļø Don't put a ceiling on your kid's dreams, but don't ignore the realities of the process either. The goal isn't just to get RECRUITED. It's to find somewhere your son can DEVELOP, COMPETE, and SUCCEED. Knowledge is power. šŸ™Œ

A lot being said about the @Brewers hitting philosophy and rightfully so, but let’s not forget that momentum offensively is served by the dudes on the bump and they are indeed Dudes. It’s a symphony of baseball on both sides and it’s extremely impressive.

šŸ”„ Updated highlight post for Jayzen Johnson — have a look coaches He’s stacking elite tools fast: T94 mph on the mound, 6.65 60-yard dash, 1.59 10-yard split, and now a 400-foot bomb. That’s legitimate D1 upside as an uncommitted 2027 (6’0/200, MIF/3B/RHP, North Hall HS @nthbaseball @TrevorFlow

Up to 94 today. Numbers are exploding. Work ethic and body makeup are real deal. Someone’s going to get a DUDE on the way up!
Jayzen Johnson (ā€˜27 GA) was up to 94 on the mound today; FB runs with some arm-side tail mixing in a slow BB that ranged in the lower 70s generating some whiffs. @PG_Uncommitted #BeastOfTheEast @PG_Georgia

The man that loves walking will go farther than the man that loves the destination… it’s about the journey and willingness to put steps down. Preparation doesn’t guarantee results, it guarantees growth.

Parents: Your son doesn’t need a perfect baseball journey. He needs adversity. Bad games. Failure. Pressure. Disappointment. That’s where confidence, toughness, and maturity are built. Don’t rescue him from every hard moment.

"Most people don't want to be pushed that hard. They want to be pushed to their level of comfort. You need coaches that push you outside your comfort zone because that’s how you grow and that’s how you develop self confidence and self esteem."

The #1 question dads ask me: ā€œCoach, does my son have what it takes for college ball?ā€ Answer after 35 years: Does he love baseball more than the highlight reel? Skills can be taught. Obsession cannot.
