Yes sir, truth.
Dennis Rodman made a valid point.š„
āMJ wouldnāt be as good as LeBron today? You mean he wouldnāt be as good at flopping? Yeah, that part he canāt do. When I was in Detroit trying to take his head off, he never hit the floor screaming. That was a league where you earned every bruise. Donāt talk to me about todayās soft rules and LeBronās four rings from team hopping. My guy got his where scoring was a fistfight, not a parade to the free-throw line. Put MJ in this era with open lanes and no hand checks, heād average 40-50 a night without breaking a sweat. No super teams, no recruiting toursājust domination. If you think MJ wouldnāt be as good as LeBron now, you have no idea who Michael Jordan was.ā

Think about this:
Michael Jordan scored 3,041 points in 1986ā87.
Nearly 40 years later, nobody else has cracked 3,000.
The closest anyone has come?
Jordan himself the very next season: 2,868.
Kobe Bryant in 2006: 2,832.
James Harden in 2019: 2,818.
To surpass 3,041, youād need to average more than 37 points per game while playing all 82.
And Jordan wasnāt just scoring.
He also averaged 5.2 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 2.9 steals and 1.5 blocks.
Nearly four decades of incredible scorers have come and gone.
Theyāre all still looking up at what 23-year-old Michael Jordan did in 1986ā87.
Some records are meant to be broken.
Some remind you there are levels to this.
