Continuing our National Girls & Women in Sports celebration, our next spotlight is Stephanie Allen! Stephanie serves PONY Baseball and Softball in many roles, including on the International Board of Directors, Corporate Secretary, Chairman of the PONY Softball Committee, and North Zone Softball Director. She also made history as the first woman to serve on our Executive Committee. She began her career as an elementary school teacher in her hometown of Herrin, Illinois where she has proudly served her local school district for over 25 years. She now serves as Athletic Director and Assistant Principal, becoming the first female Athletic Director in her school’s history. She is a strong advocate for women’s sports and a champion for athletics at all levels. She is grateful for National Girls and Women in Sports Day for celebrating the historic milestones that continue to create meaningful opportunities for young girls and women across the United States. Thank you for all that you do for PONY Baseball and Softball, Stephanie!
