清明回了一趟老家，隔了很多年，再踏上那条熟悉的小路，心里却有种说不出的陌生。村口的老树还在，河水也依旧缓缓流着，唯独少了从前的热闹。路边的花开得很盛，像是没人打扰的世界，肆意生长，可看花的人却寥寥无几。
小时候的记忆忽然一股脑涌上来。那时候的村子，总是人声鼎沸，放学后满街都是追逐打闹的身影，饭点一到，各家炊烟升起，大人们在门口闲聊，小孩在院子里疯跑。那时我们总想离开，总觉得外面的世界更大、更精彩。
可真的走远了才发现，带走的不只是行李，还有人与人之间最自然的连接。如今再回头，熟悉的房子还在，很多人却已经离开，有的去了城市，有的再也见不到。原来所谓“物是人非”，并不是一句轻飘飘的感叹，而是某一天你站在原地，突然意识到时间早已悄悄带走了一切。
或许人这一生，就是不断离开与告别的过程。我们拼命向前，却也在不断失去来时的自己。那故乡究竟是什么？是一个具体的地方，还是一段再也回不去的时光？
如果有一天你回到故乡，却发现一切都变了，你还会选择留下，还是再次转身离开？
