Moscow claims to champion Orthodox Christian values, yet arms Abiy Ahmed with fighter jets while Ethiopian Orthodox communities and churches come under fire. The hypocrisy is laid bare: faith is just PR when weapons deals are on the table.
Shame on Russia!!! @RusEmbEthiopia
Noticing more angry posts on Red Sea geopolitics from American think tanks/publications in past 24 hours after they saw the news that Russia just armed Ethiopia with a dozen fighter jets and a couple air defence systems…. Now it is Russia that is supporting the Houthis 😅🤣
NEW: Russia is actively supporting Houthi operations to disrupt global energy markets by providing the Houthis with satellite imagery of Saudi oil and military infrastructure. Russian satellites have routinely been positioned above major Saudi energy and military sites in the days prior to and after Houthi attacks on those sites since July 2026. (1/2)

I'm not sure most Canadians realize what's happening right now with Indigenous folks and the Carney government.
Today, voice after voice from Indigenous leadership, youth, from across the country, has been telling us they're gearing up for a fight for their rights.
This is big!

I am calling on Canada to oppose the candidacy of Lana Nusseibeh, the UAE's nominee for UN Secretary General. Human rights are not negotiable. Those complicit in atrocities are unfit to lead the UN.

New Democrats have repeatedly raised concerns about the UAE’s human rights record with the Liberals – including the UAE’s role in the genocide in Sudan.
Canada should not sign a trade deal with a country fueling genocide and weapons should not be shipped while this continues.
I am certain the Ethiopian PM believes in this crap…
Wow!
Canadian journalist asks Moshe Feiglin, a former Likud Member of Knesset, if he is concerned about Israel's plummeting global standing.
Feiglin's response is chilling, as it reveals the fundamental supremacist view he and many in Israel hold.
He says that the real moral supreme court is in Israel, ie with the people of Israel.
The Bible says, he explains, that those who bless Israel will be blessed, and those who curse Israel will be cursed. As a result, it's we - Israelis - who get to judge you, rather than you judging us.
And then he adds?
"Are you with the children of God or not?"

With the jets estimated to cost ≈$80M each and air defense batteries ≈$500M, Ethiopia's new acquisition from Russia could cost roughly $3 billion. How was this deal funded?
The Evangelical Zionist regime ruling Ethiopia is now detaining the survivors and mourners of the victims of the latest wave of Orthodox Christians massacres.

Local residents in Arsi where mass killings happened a few days ago are saying anyone in the area who picked up and buried citizens killed a few days ago, wore mourning clothes, or was a relative of the deceased is being hunted down and arrested.
Residents say the number of people arrested by local officials, accused of being 'collaborators with the enemy' and 'leaking information,' has now exceeded 100.
Addis Standard confirmed this today and published news on it, mentioning that the number of detainees is over 50:
It is now becoming crystal clear who is behind the killings?

Over the past eight years, Orthodox Christians in Ethiopia, especially in the Oromia regional state, have endured massacres, church burnings, and forced conversions to Islam. Thousands have been killed and dozens of churches burned to the ground, while the world stayed silent. Backed by the Ethiopian government, the killers grew bolder, and the latest massacres are the result. It is encouraging to see the world finally waking up, but words are not enough. Action is needed now to protect Ethiopia's Christians from further bloodshed and to hold the perpetrators of this horror crimes, including the Ethiopian Government, accountable. @Pontifex @HouseForeignGOP @SecRubio @antonioguterres @volker_turk @amnesty @hrw @WashTimes @ksorbs @itsmorganariel @cnalive @IngrahamAngle @drhossamsamy65 @BBCWorld @DailyMail @DeanAllisonMP @KatiePavlich @VaticanNews @AsstSecStateAF

When is US Ambassador Ervin Massinga of @USEmbassyAddis going to strongly condemn the recent massacre of Orthodox Christians in Arsi, Oromia region?
We strongly condemn the recent attack on St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church in Jordan. Attacks on places of worship are unacceptable and undermine the principles of religious freedom and peaceful coexistence. We stand in solidarity with those affected and reaffirm our commitment to religious freedom, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence.
