About 5 minutes after the watermark detector ships, the detection algorithm is going to leak. About 10 minutes after that, somebody will put a de-watermarker on github.
Smooth move, Anthropic. Not just trying to screw your customers over yet again, but doing it in a way that's guaranteed to fail fast, accomplishing nothing.

You can't see it. It survives copy and paste, and it can survive some editing.
Only regulators, journalists, fact-checkers and researchers can check for it right now.

🚨 BREAKING: Poland’s President has made his first public appearance amid the growing political chaos engulfing the Polish citizens .
“What is happening right now at Poland’s Constitutional Tribunal is nothing less than a COUP D’ÉTAT! We will never allow a tyrant to take control of our motherland.
For a long time, the government has been pushing Poland towards a dangerous confrontation with Russia, and I strongly reject that direction. After failing to convince the Polish people with its agenda, it is now resorting to desperate measures, attempting to seize control of yet another public institution through illegal means.
This is an outright assault on Poland’s constitutional order, sovereignty and democratic institutions.
