Congress is not serious. We are voting on a stock trading ban for members of Congress… BUT Republicans added voter-ID in the legislation. Not to get Dems to vote for voter-ID, but to get them to vote against the stock trading ban, so they can use it in the Nov. election.

Remember this article from almost 5 years ago ? Herbert Diess, former CEO, warned that Volkswagen risked losing up to 30,000 jobs in Germany if the company did not accelerate its transition to electric vehicles fast enough. Slow transition to EVs would make VW uncompetitive against Tesla and Chinese EV makers, leading to lost market share and major job losses. Proactive restructuring and faster EV shift, which could involve some job reductions in inefficient areas, bureaucracy, or lower-productivity roles, was presented as necessary to avoid even bigger job losses later. But of course the works council and unions strongly pushed back, they called such cuts “absurd and baseless.” And then they fired Herbert Diess. And here we are 5 years later and the VW group is planning to fire 100,000 employees and close 4 plants in Europe, even their Zwickau factory they spent €1.2 billion and years to retooled for BEV production. They can’t say they weren't warned. Herbert Diess did it loudly and publicly!

I admit I am no Waterologist... but they are fighting data centers in Florida due to water usage. Can we not just use the salt water that completely surrounds us and is endless in supply? Why do we have to use drinking water? @GovRonDeSantis

Hot Take... Spirit Airlines killed Spirit Airlines. People need to stop always blaming everything in life on someone else, usually politically biased.

What is the biggest grift in history? How about the rich convincing the middle class that poor people are the reason they do not have more money.

With Tariffs being refunded will these companies have to give credits to every buyer of their products? Or was this simply another scam for a wealth transfer to the rich from the middle class?

If you spouse or close friend does something very stupid, do you call them out for it? Why do you not do the same to your politicians?

The presidency, the house, the Senate and the Supreme Court are controlled by Republicans. But somehow, the mouth breathers on here I wanna claim it’s Democrat’s fault that the government shut down ? Make it make sense … people are so gullible. It’s unbelievable.

Today, only 65 of us voted to release names of congressmen who have used the sexual harassment slush fund to pay off claims against them. 357 members voted to “refer it to committee” knowing that resolution ain’t ever making it out of committee. Roll call: clerk.house.gov/evs/2026/rol…
Congress has secretly paid out more than $17 million of your money to quietly settle charges of harassment (sexual and other forms) in Congressional offices. Don’t you think we should release the names of the Representatives? I do.
