This that you are saying mzee, would be the best option for United, but it needs coaching to and at the moment team looks coachless. Most annoying thing is that there would be a chance to compete for anything coz no team has looked that convincing yet..
Man United work hard to take the lead, then play like they don't think they deserve it, like it was some fluke. Run through the games against Fulham, Everton, Spurs and Leeds again, and lose count of the number of times they got into wide areas and not got the ball into the box, the number times they had possession and no men in forward positions beyond an isolated red shirt, the number of times the build-up was slow and ponderous, the extended periods between their countable shots on goal, and on and on. Issues are being raised about their defence, but they can and should take significant pressure off it by establishing themselves as an attacking force again, rather than try to make themselves hard to beat, with what they've got. Attack can be the best form of defence you know. Man City, Chelsea and Brighton have done that ...

I think we are talking about the same thing mwami Buule but using a different language. Iam not throwing blame, just saying the players need abit of polishing at a higher level, I would say the same for the players from the big league.
Mwaami @TukaaBrian, Masaza tournament exists to offer a chance to the capable ones that wish to push their dreams as a footballers. Its a turnament not an academy.

The team that traveled by bus to Nairobi to participate in the Africa netball championships have emerged the champions after defeating the defending champions South Africa.
Now uganda is now no1 in Africa.
I pray the govt prioritizes this sport too.
Key component to is allowing the coach go about his business, you rarely hear rumours of their coach being sacked even when things aint moving on well, that way the other plans are always easy to integrate. But also feel they always get in some players when they have to.
The Brighton model should be a case study across the football world, not just in England. High turnover of players and managers, but team plays to largely same philosophy and retains it's distinct identity no matter who is out there. And not just that amazing scouting department, but the wholesome blueprint need curious scrutiny and adoption!

Naye wabadewa comrade?
The quality and depth in the @Arsenal squad is insane as compared to rivals and for that matter, they will be favourites again to defend their title and also in other competitions including the Champions League.
Back home, there are new managers at Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea while Man United project appears to get less support from INEOS in terms of adding quality in what will be a demanding season for newbie Michael Carrick.
There a few days for the market to close and if nothing happens at Man United in positions like left back, Defensive Midfield, centre foward and at maybe Centre back, they will have thrown Carrick under the bus. I
That said, @Arsenal will defend the title come May 2027.
The rest, fight for UCL positions and it could be tighter.
Tonight, the best i have seen @KCCAFC play since the Mike Mutebi days. They were dominant and brilliant against Kitara.

Was good seeing you my guy.
This is the right handle though.
After telling the stories of the #CommonwealthGames2026 in Glasgow, @NBSportUg journalists @briantukaa and @MMKaddu begin their journey back to Uganda.
Yet before the miles carried them away, London gifted us a moment, a conversation, a handshake, and memories that will outlive the journey.
Safe travels, gentlemen. May every mile home be as rewarding as the stories you told.
Well done sir and Thank you Glasgow!
What an incredible celebration of Commonwealth Sport.
As the curtain falls on Glasgow 2026, I want to express my deepest gratitude to every athlete, volunteer, official, partner, supporter and member of our Commonwealth Sport family who made these Games so special.
Glasgow has once again demonstrated the power of sport to unite people across our 74 nations and territories. These Games have also shown what is possible when innovation, collaboration and purpose come together, helping shape a strong and sustainable future for Commonwealth Sport.
Glasgow 2026 has been a powerful expression of what Commonwealth Sport stands for. Across every venue, we have seen our values of Humanity, Equality and Destiny brought to life by athletes, volunteers and communities, reminding us of sport's extraordinary ability to inspire, unite and transform lives.
To Glasgow — thank you for your warmth, your passion and for delivering a Games that will be remembered with pride.
As one chapter closes, another begins. Our journey now continues to Malta 2027, where the next generation of athletes will come together for the Commonwealth Youth Games, before we gather once again in Amdavad 2030 to celebrate the Centenary Commonwealth Games. Together, these events will continue to inspire young people, strengthen communities and build on the legacy of Glasgow 2026.
Thank you, Glasgow, for showing the world what Commonwealth Sport can achieve.
