🚨 Community, we need your help. After responsibly reporting a trade protection exploit/bug through Steam support and other channels, Valve even asked us directly for details. We provided info, including the SteamIDs of the 2 accounts used to reproduce the bug. A day later, both accounts were trade-banned, even after Valve confirmed they could see the issue on their end. We strongly believe this was an automated limitation tied to the exploit rather than a manual ban. We never abused the bug, never leaked details, and even warned other platforms that they were at risk. After the exploit was fixed on Steam’s side, we tried reaching out again for help through every possible channel. The only response we received was a generic template from Steam support, followed by complete silence elsewhere. We’re not asking for special treatment, recognition, or drama. We just don’t want to be punished for reporting responsibly and trying to keep the community safe.
